I really enjoy the food. Truly. Great gluten free bun! Beyond burgers cooked well! If the fries were thinner and crispier and they had good vegan mayo this would be ...the perfect gluten free and vegan burger joint for me!! My first visit, employees seemed unsure while I was trying to confirm gluten free options. This past visit, the dude at the counter knew the answers without consulting others, which just gives me a sense of relief! I'm gluten free and vegan. I haven't gotten sick from this restaurant on either visit! I highly recommend getting your food to go or eating outside on a nice day. The inside smells as if the hoods haven't been cleaned...ever? My first visit with my family was during colder months. We ate in the shack. Afterward, I even had to wash everyone's winter coats to get that used grease smell out. I worked in food service far too long and have a sensitive nose, so maybe I'm not the ideal person to give feedback on the smell? I cannot stand that grease smell on my clothes or on anyone riding in my car!! Lol But, in all seriousness, if the hoods aren't getting cleaned it can be a fire hazard!! Be careful, y'all!

Carino family dentistry of Gainesville Va .. had the pleasure of a catered lunch today from Mellow Mushroom.. the pizza a was excellent- arrived on time for lunch - hot, the toppings were fresh and the gluten free option was perfect for several staff members.. A big Thank YOU to the catering manager Nia Bills for being such a light in our day and providing us with remarkable service. We highly recommend Mellow Mushroom!

We went about 5 times without issue bc only here and chic fil a have safe fries for gluten free. And my son always gets the gluten free pizza. Yesterday the celiac protocol wasn't up to par and my son got sick. Still great for non celiacs

Unimpressive, my burger came out in toast and was lukewarm, the fries were old and overdone, and the waiters didn’t check on the gluten free request until they delivered the food and advised it wasn’t celiac friendly (which wasn’t an issue but should’ve been checked when the order was placed). Apple pie however was amazing

I can't believe I waited so long to stop by. Great place! Best BBQ I've had in the area (also killer cheesy biscuits), superb beer in a wide variety of styles (first time I've been to a pour-your-own place, enjoyed that), pleasant space and super friendly owners & staff. A few of the beers are gluten-reduced, if you care about that (not technically gluten-free, it's a byproduct of a certain brewing process that just happens to remove most of the gluten without affecting the taste).

This is my son's (6years) favorite restaurant. The food is good and consistent. The owner is always cheerful and willing to answer questions about ingredients and all the staff is super friendly. I do wish the owner would put together a binder or laminated sheet with the top allergens or ingredient list because getting information can take some time if they're busy. They could also use more gluten free, pork free menu options.
