We visited here on a Friday in summer of 2020 and had a great experience, so while back in WI, we chose to have dinner here for a special occasion. The hostess that greeted us was excellent very kind and efficient, our table that we had reserved was waiting for us. Our drinks from the bar were on point and the staff from the bar that served them to us were also very kind. Everyone's meals were pretty good the wings were very good I have to say the succotash was nothing to write home about it was basically a bowl of corn and a few other vegetables and I did not taste the balsamic however the salmon that I had on top was cooked perfectly. The reason we probably won't come back is our waitress. She was incredibly rude she made us feel like we were an inconvenience and she really hated her job. Asking for refills she kind of rolled her eyes, and we had to track her down anytime that we needed anything for a table. I believe her name was Taylor. We asked for barbecue sauce for burgers and we were told they don't carry it. We did appreciate the gluten free bun option though. Too bad, one sour apple ruined it 😒
Breakfast here is excellent and they have lots of gluten free options, including pancakes and toast. Always enjoy eating here with friends when in town.
Cozy and hipster vibes set the scene for a fun spot with delicious vegetarian options and unique decor that'll keep you entertained.

I would say this is a decent place to go for lunch, if you are not gluten free. The homemade pasta was a hit with my spouse. And the atmosphere is pleasant and clean. I ordered a gluten free sandwich and what I got would not be considered edible. The bread they used fell apart in my hands like sand and was freezing cold and not toasted. The salad tasted fresh and coffee drinks were nice. I was disappointed in my sandwich that I paid nearly $20 for and I ended up leaving it all untouched on my plate. I feel like a place that offers local could come up with some resource for local sourdough or gluten free bread or gluten friendly wraps using lettuce at the very least. This was absolutely a junk food freezer bread that was not worthy of presenting to a customer.
Great food and great service. We really enjoyed the gluten free options offered here. It is nice to have good food the whole family can enjoyed and no one gets sick!
This spot is a must-visit for its amazing dishes and fresh offerings, making it a top choice for a great dining experience.

I have been wanting to go the Barton House for a while. The food was over the top amazing. I had the Barton Bomber it was cooked just as I ordered and to top it off i am gluten free and they had gluten free buns. Everything was hot and fresh and the service was spot on. If you have not been there I recommend you visit them soon.
Local vibes and fantastic meals served up with care make for a great dining experience that’s definitely worth a visit!

Sisters didn’t feel like cooking last night,…let the Orville cook and serve up some delicious food! If we’re eating out, spending good money, the restaurant has to answer yes to the following questions: Gluten free options? Is the food fantastic or above? Local sources? Thank you Orville! We will be back..
Looks like a little hole in the wall next to River Horse and a vape shop, but truly excellent food. Partner had Southwest chicken salad and steamed dumplings, I had REALLY GOOD pan seared salmon with potato, steamed veggies and salad. Very tasty but garlicky cucumber/dill/sour cream accompaniment with the salmon. Full gluten free menu. Why haven't I eaten here before??
Dine here for an incredible variety and top-notch service that will leave you wanting more!

Waited an hour for my food. Tried an old fashioned and it was only three ingredients, they didn't even put simple syrup in it, and it was a "sweet" old fashioned at that. Why ask sweet or sour if you won't make it proper anyways? Had to send the first one back because it was bitter as hell. Tried the "warm me up buttercup" and it tasted like nail polish remover... Another in my group got the blackberry old fashioned and you couldn't taste any berries at all. The drinks here are God awful but the swordfish was decent. My group got charged an 8 dollar credit card fee, so pay cash when you come here. For the prices of their drinks you'd think they'd maybe make proper drinks, but all 3 cocktails my group ordered were depressing. Their only soda selections are coke and sprite. They said it's company policy that they can't split checks either, so be prepared coming as a group. Also, if you're gluten or dairy free, go elsewhere. Overall very let down with this restaurant.
With a cozy vibe and personalized suggestions, this spot excels in making sure everyone enjoys a delicious meal tailored just for them.

I have food intolerances (dairy and gluten). The staff, especially Nora, were very accommodating with my needs. Nora gave suggestions for me to eat due to shared friers. I had walleye baked in olive oil, baked potato and a salad. My husband had fried walleye, baked potato and coleslaw. Everything was delicious 😋
Thank you for accommodating my dietary needs.
