Had an amazing meal at mate cafe. I have coeliac disease and they were able to cater well to this and were very well educated on cross contamination. I felt very safe eating the food because of this. The food was delicious and flavoursome and very reasonably priced. The owners were so kind, we had a great chat! We wish we could have come here again during our stay in Hoi an. Would definitely recommend coming here for authentic and tasty Vietnamese food. Particularly great to go if you are gluten free!!

Wow. Best meal I had in Vietnam. Dreaming about this. Such a unique environment too— we sat on the second floor. I got the #5 and it was all gluten free! Passion fruit juice was also incredible, and my husband tried the Vietnamese egg hot chocolate and LOVED it— it’s like a super fluffy drink.

We really enjoyed our meal. My wife has celiac disease and requires gluten free food. Our server named Bao was able to guide us by pointing out several gluten free dishes on the menu. She had the fried spring rolls with chicken and the chicken pho. And we shared some steamed vegetables with steamed rice. Also shown is my meal with was not Gluten free.

Great place, def worth a visit - although in a 5 star hotel, don’t let that distract. GLUTEN FREE -and COELIACS - this is the restaurant for you - there is a seperate menu, which is nearly half the normal menu. Highly recommend

We visited Limoncello for my boyfriend’s birthday. He is a celiac. They gave us a great and cute table as per request and the staff was very attentive and was double checking everything for my boyfriend - celiac, can’t have soy and doesn’t eat seafood, so you know very difficult 😅 we are very thankful to the staff and chef for making this experience good and safe for him! The food is delicious and generous portions. Thank you again for your kind hospitality! 🫶

The food at Bun Cha Ta is delicious. We ate round after round of sticky rice and yoghurt. Highly recommend. Owner speaks great English and was very sweet also I am celiac and the food the pork and noodles they served were gluten free enough for me.

Absolutely excellent hidden gem in Old Town. The food was all fresh and just like previous reviews said, the staff was knowledgeable about celiac and pointed out all the gluten free options on the menu. We had beef skewers in rice paper (like a build-your-own-wrap), Beef Pho, Fried Chicken rice rolls, fried pork belly. All were delicious and the staff gave us a gf fish sauce & spicy soy sauce to dip

The menu now describes what the dishes are made from. (rice flour, tapioca flour etc) Some of the deserts list wheat and gluten so you can see the (small) amount of dishes that Aren’t GF. Can recommend the beef noodle soup with crab cake in it.

We have to eat glutenfree and ryan was so polite, he also spoke perfectly english and supported us what we can eat and what not. The food was fantastic, fresh taste and we didn t miss anything. We will definetely come again:-) also loved the hibiskus lime ice tea:-)

A place isolated from the chaos of the city center, with excellent food and 10/10 service. A little more expensive than usual in Vietnam, but 100% worth it! And they have gluten-free options :)

I visited here 2 weeks ago with a Vietnamese friend who ordered for me. We had a salad type dish with rice noodles and meat that you mixed “fish sauce” into, it was really yummy. I used my Gluten Free translation card to help insure that the meal was gluten free.

A beautiful hidden gem! This charming little spot is a hidden gem that caters easily to vegans and those with gluten intolerances. The food was delicious—flavourful and satisfying. We’re so glad we came and would definitely return! The pulled jackfruit was a standout, and even the French fries were exceptionally tasty—better than your usual fries. Highly recommended! Came back a second time, need I say more.

Excellent celiac options at Phin’s! We ate the beef fried rice and the staff were knowledgeable about my allergy. They took out the fish sauce for precautionary measures but brought out the bottle so we could see ingredients. Overall, an excellent experience!

On our trip, we occasionally need a break from Asian food, and today was one of those days. We stumbled upon this restaurant because it offers many gluten-free options (pasta, risotto, polenta, etc.). The Italian atmosphere was palpable from the very beginning: The host patiently explained the menu, and the wine list also featured Italian wines. We opted for a cheese plate and ossobuco with risotto for two people. Both were excellent, 200% authentic, and provided us with a truly enjoyable evening! We highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our Buddha tacos,smoothie bowl & coconut coffee , so yum . Foods & juices so fresh and delicious every time we try. The service is prompt, friendly and accommodating . They serve variety option gluten-free ,vegan & western brunch . Definitely coming back my favorite cafe !

As a coeliac, beginning to feel the sting of defeat as I discovered Knorr stock cubes used willy-nilly with the abandon of a Cossack making a foray into Russian territory, the Red Dragon hove into view in the nick of time. I found them on some blog by another coeliac who had done all the hard graft long before my arrival. The options were limited for those of us that avoid the vile gluten but they were good and cheap - cheap for someone that is used to Singapore prices. The staff were friendly enough, the underlings were fearful upon the dreaded question - "Is this gluten free?" What? Yes? No? What's gluten? To be fair, it was on the menu but I am antsy about these things because I have been surprised in the past. The overlord knew of what he spoke and we all had a delightful meal. The expat crowd were either all coeliacs or (and this is more likely) were there for the rather good cocktails and a french fry that would bring an American to their knees - we can only dream of such magic with the more prosaic Singapore potato, but that's my peasant stock rearing its ugly head. Anyway - tip top if you're a coeliac and even better if you're not, I imagine. Have at it with no fear whatsoever.

The two of us didn't have to wait and got a good seat right away without a reservation. The food was brought to our table within a few minutes. We ordered Banh Xeo Thap Cam, Goi Cuon Chay, My Xeo Rau Cu, and Rau Muong Xeo Toi. The service from the staff was excellent. Jet, among others, served us – very courteous. He showed us how to roll Banh Xeo Thap Cam. The restaurant is highly recommended and offers vegetarian and gluten-free dishes, among others. We were very impressed and will be back. It is an excellent experience to get to know and taste authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Tucked away in a little neighborhood is this amazing little gem of a restaurant. I have celiacs, an allergy to gluten, and that’s how I found out about this restaurant but it’s so much more than a restaurant for people who can’t eat gluten. They take pride in having a menu with healthy, clean foods and it was just what we felt we needed today. The restaurant is cute, clean and the menu has a variety of choices. We are Americans traveling Vietnam and the world and the food here was very good. We’ve missed salads and I felt very safe eating here. The food is very fresh, reasonable the owner speaks very good English and has a very good understanding of allergies. He told us about a customer who came there twice a day for months because he couldn’t trust other restaurants with his allergy. If you are in Nha Trang, and are looking for a healthy alternative, at a very good price I strongly recommend you come here. Unfortunately I only took one picture because we both ordered a steak salad but my husband had a watermelon juice and I had pineapple juice and they were delicious too! Hope you stop in for some healthy, yummy food!

Visited L'Herbanyste for brunch with family. Meals are reasonably priced and have good sized servings. I had the quinoa burger with sweet potatoes and gluten free bagel. Wife got the brown rice with grilled brocolli and tofu. Daughter went for the eggs, tomatoes and sourdough bread. Very kind staff. Was able to accommodate requests due to my food allergies. Thank you! Food were all delicious and finished it all up feeling great without the usual discomfort when I eat out. Will come back again.

Great food and the views are insanely nice. But tbf for the price you would expect that the service would be a bit better. The staff did not know, which dishes on the menu were gluten free and then it was difficult to change anything.
