We really enjoyed our meal. My wife has celiac disease and requires gluten free food. Our server named Bao was able to guide us by pointing out several gluten free dishes on the menu. She had the fried spring rolls with chicken and the chicken pho. And we shared some steamed vegetables with steamed rice. Also shown is my meal with was not Gluten free.

Food was decent - usually they have gluten free bread but they didn’t during breakfast time which was a little bit annoying! But would recommend for a change from Vietnamese food!

The menu now describes what the dishes are made from. (rice flour, tapioca flour etc) Some of the deserts list wheat and gluten so you can see the (small) amount of dishes that Aren’t GF. Can recommend the beef noodle soup with crab cake in it.

Allergens are listed on the menu so you can eat with confidence. The store staff should also check to see if anyone has allergies. As a gluten-free person, I felt really safe. Also, no matter what I eat, it's all rare and delicious. I visited there twice during my visit to Japan. If I have a chance to go to Vietnam again, I would definitely go there.

We stumbled upon this cafe late in our stay to Hoi An, and we wish we found it sooner. With a beautiful selection of savoury and sweet options, this cafe caters to the likes of many. My partner and I each enjoyed the ‘Dear Ellie Smoothie Bowl,’ which was delightful - freshly made with the option of having gluten free granola. The service is prompt, friendly and accommodating to people looking to take things slow and enjoy their drink or meal. I am glad we got to experience this place before we left this wonderful city.

Hidden gem for vegans and vegetarians. Good selection of gluten free options too. We took yellow vietnamese curry which was yummy and not spicy, chickpea curry was a bit crunchy, the jackfruit bao bun and vegan burgers were delicious. They also made pancakes with banana and tasty mango ice-cream (home made). I ordered Chai with oat milk - would not recommend (it was kinda thick and just odd) :). The prices are reasonable. Overall a good experience.

Had the most beautiful waitress, she showed me what I could eat on the menu which was a huge range. Understood exactly what gluten free was and double checked about soy sauce. Felt very comfortable eating here and the food was also delicious, would definitely come back again

Could not be happier with out experience here. My wife got carbonara with gluten free pasta and said it was delicious. I got a pizza and it was the best I've had so far travelling around SEA and I've eaten a lot (believe me). Our server Tran was genuinely lovely, friendly and very attentive. We will be back!!

As a coeliac, beginning to feel the sting of defeat as I discovered Knorr stock cubes used willy-nilly with the abandon of a Cossack making a foray into Russian territory, the Red Dragon hove into view in the nick of time. I found them on some blog by another coeliac who had done all the hard graft long before my arrival. The options were limited for those of us that avoid the vile gluten but they were good and cheap - cheap for someone that is used to Singapore prices. The staff were friendly enough, the underlings were fearful upon the dreaded question - "Is this gluten free?" What? Yes? No? What's gluten? To be fair, it was on the menu but I am antsy about these things because I have been surprised in the past. The overlord knew of what he spoke and we all had a delightful meal. The expat crowd were either all coeliacs or (and this is more likely) were there for the rather good cocktails and a french fry that would bring an American to their knees - we can only dream of such magic with the more prosaic Singapore potato, but that's my peasant stock rearing its ugly head. Anyway - tip top if you're a coeliac and even better if you're not, I imagine. Have at it with no fear whatsoever.

I have coeliac disease and showed them my gluten free travel card explaining what I can NOT eat. The staff didn't take it seriously and gave me food that contained gluten though I asked several times about the sauces and the sushi rice. I got suspicious when she brought us miso soup which is normally never gluten free. To make it worse: we found out that they have a dedicated list with gluten free items and the ones to avoid for the staff to look at. And the one who served us didn't bother to check the list. Otherwise the food and place was nice and with a competent staff member I would not spend the rest of my holiday severely sick.

We went to this restaurant twice! The food was delicious - I need to eat gluten free and enjoyed a whole snapper one night and a prawn curry the other. So delicious. We also had spring rolls for entree which were amazing. The staff were lovely and we really enjoyed our seat upstairs with the view of the river. The two singers were fantastic and they were one of the main reasons we returned the second time. We highly recommend this restaurant.

came here because of the 'find me gluten free' app and was not disappointed at all. owner understood gluten allergy and was able to accommodate for it. even came to deliver some food when I had a bus to catch. it did take longer than average for the food to arrive but the quality was also above average. if you're a celiac (gluten-free) or just looking for some great Italian food, do visit this place.

Tucked away in a little neighborhood is this amazing little gem of a restaurant. I have celiacs, an allergy to gluten, and that’s how I found out about this restaurant but it’s so much more than a restaurant for people who can’t eat gluten. They take pride in having a menu with healthy, clean foods and it was just what we felt we needed today. The restaurant is cute, clean and the menu has a variety of choices. We are Americans traveling Vietnam and the world and the food here was very good. We’ve missed salads and I felt very safe eating here. The food is very fresh, reasonable the owner speaks very good English and has a very good understanding of allergies. He told us about a customer who came there twice a day for months because he couldn’t trust other restaurants with his allergy. If you are in Nha Trang, and are looking for a healthy alternative, at a very good price I strongly recommend you come here. Unfortunately I only took one picture because we both ordered a steak salad but my husband had a watermelon juice and I had pineapple juice and they were delicious too! Hope you stop in for some healthy, yummy food!

I’m a pretty health conscious person normally back at home and also have a gluten allergy. Since coming to Vietnam my diet has gone a bit to the wayside here….between deep fried, carb heavy dishes, and gluten exposure in many meals through ingredients like soy sauce. I was lucky to stumble upon Lanterns Cafe. The food is all delicious using clean and fresh ingredients, and they have gluten free options. The owner actually sat with me to go through the menu and said it’s completely customizable with some ideas of what I could do, in addition to what was already available. I ended up ordering something off of a new menu she is developing that is completely gluten free and vegan… but the restaurant does offer animal based proteins for those who want. It was so delicious. She later returned to share her journey with me.. her passion is in health and female hormones. From her own journey in healing herself, the owner is constantly researching and applying what she learns to creating the healthiest, tastiest dishes. She wakes up at 6 am every day to swim at the beach, do yoga, and workout. She eats the same things she cooks for customers. The restaurant is truly a labor of love, and I came back to eat here three times during my stay in Hoi An. It’s a super cute interior with an open front so you can people watch right in the heart of the town. They also sell some cute handicrafts and there is tons of cool air flowing and good music, decor, vibes. I wish this place existed where I live in the states… My tummy felt so good after each meal I would go every day if I could!

Visited L'Herbanyste for brunch with family. Meals are reasonably priced and have good sized servings. I had the quinoa burger with sweet potatoes and gluten free bagel. Wife got the brown rice with grilled brocolli and tofu. Daughter went for the eggs, tomatoes and sourdough bread. Very kind staff. Was able to accommodate requests due to my food allergies. Thank you! Food were all delicious and finished it all up feeling great without the usual discomfort when I eat out. Will come back again.
