We had 3 people in our party and only one had a good food experience. Unfortunately, the 2.people that ordered gluten free pasta dishes were served extremely boring dishes with no flavor and absolutely no attempt at presentation. The gluten free pasta dishes looked like something from a children's menu - no exaggeration, I promise. My dish, Penne Regine All’Arrabbiata, was tasty and well presented. I enjoyed it! Service was attentive. Atmosphere was ok. Tables were close together, somewhat unnecessarily since there was plenty of space in the restaurant. We will not be returning.
Expect a delightful surprise with fresh, flavorful tapas that make for an unforgettable experience, all at surprisingly affordable prices.

This place is absolutely incredible. It is tapas style and you can really taste how fresh the food is. No matter how long the line is I think it’s worth the wait, also they can make almost anything celiac/gluten friendly.

My review is only for the beers as we didn't eat. Being celiac, I had marked all the pubs where I could eat and/or drink gluten-free based on other people's reviews. For beers: I can confirm that they have gluten-free beers. The menu only says gluten-free bottled Peroni but, upon asking the waiter, I was offered a gluten-free draft IPA and 2 others (IPA and Weiss) in cans.
Enjoy a cozy vibe in a gorgeous former bank, sipping delightful mocktails and experiencing warm hospitality in the heart of the city.

7 of us decided to head to Hawksmoor for my son's 25th birthday to see what all the hype was about. The décor was stunning. I found the steaks not great. They mixed up all the orders and some were burnt. For the price I have had better to be honest. It's an expensive place so beware. The service was also ok and as being a Celiac they were very knowledgeable on it. Not sure I'd go back honestly and we felt it certainly was not worth the money.
We asked if they could do gluten free fish and chips. We were told yes. What followed was very sad, a piece of white fish of indeterminate origin, not battered, as you’d expect from fish and chips. My oysters were ruined, slashed to pieces by an inexperienced shucker. Very poor. Management immediately took out food away and didn’t charge us.
Shame when you are on a beautiful quayside that you’d ruin seafood like that

Our waiter Juno was fantastic. He was very friends and accommodating. Would definitely recommend a visit. Ask for the Portugese guy, he's great fun. I only gave 4 stars for the food because there weren't many gluten free options.
This is my favourite restaurant in Dublin... probably the world. I'm not exaggerating, we had a long discussion with my husband about our favourite restaurants anywhere in the world and no other came close in my opinion. Excellent food, great service lovely venue and fantastic ambience (pub-meets-nice-restaurant). Being coeliac is a bit of a pain when eating out, but this place has always made me feel safe and welcome. The food is fantastic. Clearly, all ingredients are of the best possible quality. I don't think I've ever had such good seafood. We've been coming for years and we never had anything but a great experience. The seafood platter is the best and it's a lot of food. The Steaming shellfish pot is my favourite, preceded by some oysters (trust me, order the oysters). If you are coeliac, they even have gluten free bread. The staff are super professional, efficient and friendly. I have nothing but praise for Matt The Thresher.
