Rick’s Cafe Boatyard has been on our list of date-night restaurants to check out for a long time. We finally made it and we’re happy we did. Even with some construction work happening, the atmosphere was nice. They had several gluten-free options for us to choose from. We chose bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp tacos (see the photos), and it was all delicious. Our server was great… very attentive, friendly and helpful.

Gotta love Ocean Prime. Even during restaurant week they go out of their way to make you feel special. Never had a bad time. Did a great job making sure there was no cross contamination risks for my gluten free wife. Our favorite fancy restaurant in Indy.

Absolutely amazing! The staff were very friendly, accommodating and careful with my Celiac / gluten intolerance, and the food was delicious. I attached a photo of my Rainbow Trout with chimichurri (I wrote "FISH" with my rice, which was an excellent addition to the meal)

So so pricey. A tad pretentious. Hassled us for bringing a gluten free birthday cake even though we called ahead of time to make sure it was ok. Not sure I'll go back.

This is a very nice upscale restaurant, featuring Italian cuisine. There are several menu items suitable for people with gluten sensitivity. The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Fun spot with a comfortable atmosphere and awesome cocktails. Started with the wedge salad (no croutons), the balsamic tomatoes were at peak ripeness. The tomatoes paired well with the crisp iceburg lettuce and creamy bite of the horseradish blue cheese dressing. I ordered the nook pizza on gluten-free crust and it was phenomenal. I took 1/2 home and it was equally delicious when eaten cold the next day. Here's the deal, 90% of gluten-free pizza is under cooked. The bottom of the crust never gets toasted. Not this crust, it was perfectly crisp. On to the toppings, the onions complimented the fennel in the sausage. Then there are the wine mushrooms... these meaty fungi were flavor bombs. Great balance between the texture and seasoning. It's very unusual to have a pizza wow me. This one had it all, each topping added complexity without stealing the show. 10/10 would nosh again! Hubs got the fried chicken with green beans, mac and cheese. Enjoyed a nibble on the beans, also perfectly cooked and seasoned. All-in-all everything from service to food was on point. Can't wait to come back.

Very friendly and helpful service. Fish was great, but sorry they do not have a gluten free form of their marvelous dinner rolls. But we had a great time.
