Fish quality was great. Service was great. Prices were much higher than normal places and it seemed everything included tempura. I struggle to only give 4 stars but I need to be real with the experience. If I lived here and it was a close option, I would be back. They did have gluten free soy sauce for which I am grateful.

Absolutely lovely. We got engaged this morning and decided to go to Osaka for dinner. This was our first time at Osaka, and I got the fried calamari and Black Russian roll. My fiancé for the egg fried rice (which they made sure was gluten-free and corn-free for her). The meal was stunning and the sushi was by far the BEST sushi roll I’ve ever had. I also tasted the sea urchin and tuna sushi. The tuna was fantastic, but I think sea urchin is an acquired taste and not for me. Service was fantastic. We were fortunate to go in right after they opened for dinner service, so we didn’t need a reservation, although I recommend you make one, because it fills up fast. Thank you to everyone at Osaka for their quick assistance to make our engagement dinner a success.

Our favorite sushi spot in rva. The owner knows I have a gluten allergy so there is always gluten free soy sauce available and he modifies rolls so that I can eat them.

I love the vibes this restaurant carries. The staff are always exceptionally outstanding in their service. The food is also good if there are dietary restrictions or sensitivities (vegan or gluten free). They accommodate when you inform the staff. The sushi and other meals here are also incredibly good! I love coming to this restaurant. They have me hooked.
