I have celiac disease and I’m super sensitive to gluten cross contamination. Have eaten here several times with no issues. And they have the best chips ever

Adored for their short ribs and delightfully refreshing drinks, don't miss out on their tropical black tea Arnold Palmer; a return visit is a must!

I frequent this location, but I'm not sure how much longer that will continue if changes aren't made.
Started off on the wrong foot - asked the lady who seated us for a booth and she puts our menus on a normal table. We politely say again we would like a booth or half booth, please, and she moves us to another section.
Taco Tuesday - BOGO, sounds great - well, until you order the tacos anyway.
I ordered four carne asada tacos, and my wife ordered two Pollo deshebrado.
My tacos were overcooked, dry, and underseasoned. When I asked the waiter if this is how they are normally served, he claimed it was because they switched to gluten free? I know BS when I hear it, and yeah - that was an awful excuse. I drowned them in sauce and salsa to get through them. I'd rate this carne asada lower than Filiberto's at twice the cost. That's not a compliment.
My wife had a better experience, but her chicken was too salty, and drenched in sauce. If the chicken is sitting in a chefs pan waiting to be heated up each order, this makes sense. Probably the bottom of the pan.
Honestly I'm shocked at how the kitchen is so inconsistent every time we come here. The recipes don't change. I shouldn't come in as a customer and be worried about the quality of food I'm about to receive.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with live music, a lively bar scene, and plenty of TV screens, perfect for a fun night out or catching the game.

This bar and restaurant had great music, a good atmosphere and good food.
You're easily going to spend $20 before drinks. Entrees are under 20, but add a side or an app and you're easily over 20 with a tip. I paid about 30 with tip and I just had a lemonade as a drink.
For being a Friday, I expected it to be busier but I was there closer to dinner time, not late-night.
I got the Barbacoa tacos and they were very good, if a little too salty for my liking (and I like salt!) They needed the rice and beans to offset how salty they were. I guess it's in the name. Good, spicy heat but not overbearing.
Everyone else's food looked great as well, especially the carne asada which was a huge portion.
Great allergen markings. Mexican restaurants are known among the GF crowd but they rarely mark their menus despite being naturally gluten free. This place had clear and thorough markings for allergens. Thank you!
The service wasn't noticeably slow, but there were some times that it lagged between drinks and ordering food.
The real highlight was the full bar and live DJ. When we arrived the music was a bit fast and a little too obscure for me, but it mellowed-out in a good way towards the middle of our time there. Having someone dedicated to music is a rare feature and we appreciated it.
This place is bright and has a lot of TVs playing. If you want to go out and still catch the game this would be a good option for you, but it didn't quite seem like a sports bar. This place is hitting a lot of notes that you'd usually see individual places hit (sports bar/restaurant/club/bar) but in so doing it doesn't really specialize. It's kind of inch-deep, mile-wide. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a sports bar, but it's not rowdy. It's a Mexican place and family friendly, but it's modern, pristine, and not cliché. It's a bar with a DJ, but it's relaxed and laid-back enough to just enjoy the atmosphere: not too loud and no dance floor.
Overall I say give it a try. It's also right in the middle of several other dining and drinking options.
Enjoy a great menu at reasonable prices, but be prepared for a bit of a mess that might put a damper on your experience.

Food was good, reasonably priced menu and nice selection of gluten free options. On the downside we went for lunch on a weekday and tables were dirty and even the paper towel roll (in lieu of napkins) on our table seemed questionable. I wanted to love it but couldn’t get past the feeling of uncleanliness.

I honestly wish I could give negative stars. I saw that they had good ratings/reviews and wanted to try a new place for dinner last week. It was a decision I regretted. When I asked about gluten free options the staff somewhat knew what was gluten free, but then would second guess their answers. I even called ahead to ask about gluten-free options and they said that they had some. The food was not good at all. I got the chicken tacos with the corn tortilla and extra side of rice. The chicken was dry and burnt. The rice was cold and didn’t taste good. Lastly, the corn tortilla was semi okay. The only good thing was the key lime pie. That tasted more like a cheesecake than key lime. After eating the food I felt sick and threw up. I do not recommend this place even though you see good reviews. Absolutely gross and a waste of money 👎🏼👎🏼
Very disappointed with my online order.
Ordered two burritos, the wild caught mahi mahi, and the grilled shrimp burrito.
Ordered the mahi mahi with extra chipotle sauce, there was no chipotle sauce at all. The mahi mahi was blackened when I had ordered it grilled. A majority of the burrito was rice.
The grilled shrimp burrito was 90% rice, there were 3 mini shrimp in the entire burrito, missing guacamole, missing salsa Fresca, and missing chipotle sauce in the burrito.
Even with the salsa bar options we were missing 2 of what we asked for.
While at the restaurant there was another customer who placed a specific online order because he mentioned his wife has celiacs disease, and sure enough his order was made incorrectly so he had to ask that it be remade.
We’ll be trying a different location in hopes of a better experience next time.
