We had the most beautiful pizza at this lovely little gem today ...They catered for me being gluten free ,no problem Generous large pizza, beautiful base light and topping deliouse!! We will eat here all the time we are on holidays .!!!
Lovely waitress too. Thankyou.. Little Itay
We dined Thursday 5/9, although the food and staff were lovely, one of our group is a Coeliac. We did tell the staff he was Coeliac and we were guaranteed the pizza he ordered was gluten free, but unfortunately, he was struck down seriously ill with pains, vomiting and diarrhoea from 10pm to 4 am. I suggest if you're going to offer gluten free options, then more care should be taken with the possibility of cross contamination. Coeliac is a serious condition for some people, not just a current fad.☹️☹️☹️
This morning we visited Il Corso, to let them know. They couldn't have been more apologetic and explained they take all the precautions required for gluten-free options. So, thank you Il Corso for your concern and hopefully you can detect what may have been the issue, if the seafood mix has extender in it, that does have gluten. Everybody, eight in total, the other seven were extremely happy with their meals.
I went to a surprise birthday function on the weekend and Joe was able to provide a gluten free option for me for every course. I will definitely be going back.
A nice place to get a pizza from.
Different options available to choose from.
Sometimes pizzas/deserts taste better than others.
Gluten free base is really good.
