Bought some gluten free doughnuts at their market stall and they were divine! They do not compromise on taste or texture. Gifted some to a friend and shared the rest around the office and everyone who took one was a big fan - texture is light and not dense or overly chewy, flavour is cinammony and sweet.
Unexpectedly great service with a quick resolution that leaves you feeling appreciated and satisfied!

I messed up my order, it was supposed to be gluten free and once I realised the order was ready. I just asked if they had gluten free buns that I could pay for and they said they wanted to remake it for me free of charge. Not what I was expecting but really appreciated. They fixed it super quickly and we’re super helpful. Very lovely service staff.

We stumbled upon this gem when we just landed in Hervey Bay and have been back several times. All times you are greeted with a friendly smile, quick service, delish quality food and great coffee! Lots of gluten free options which was an added bonus for me! We will be back again.
Gluten free is clearly marked in the menu not on the wall. The BBQ Bento is perfect! For 14AUD is the portion a bit small but fine , thanks I come back.
Vibrant atmosphere with a diverse menu and excellent service, but expect some wait times when it's busy!

The banquet is a complete rip off. For the large number of gluten free people at our table this consisted of white GF corn bread with melted cheese to start (that’s it… no other option) and then an underwhelming steak and chips for $65.
We were also forced into the banquet option even though the venue split our group into two tables of 12. Obviously more lucrative for venue to rail road patrons into the below average yet over priced banquet than allow ordering what you want off the menu.
Managed on duty was incredibly unhelpful if not outright rude.
This is the second time I’ve been to the Boat Shed with a large group and both times the food was very disappointing. Won’t be making that mistake again. Will take our large group booking elsewhere in future.
A cozy place with a private dining room vibe, perfect for memorable celebrations with attentive service and a fantastic atmosphere.

Absolutely wonderful! We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary at Two Small Rooms today. It was fantastic to have our own private dining room for the family. 13 guests, most gluten free and all catered for perfectly in a very relaxed atmosphere. When we arrived it was like being warmly welcomed into someone's home. Communication with the staff was fantastic from the start, and we were able to bring decorations and flowers and the cake. Our table was waited by Amy and we could not have asked for better table service. Amy was professional, friendly and gracious in her service. The three course lunch was absolutely delicious. The wine selection was perfect. Tea and coffee was served with the cake. My parents were thrilled with their celebration. Highly recommend!

As a coeliac, I appreciate the safety that Bird's Nest guarantees. I get the karaage every time, its so crispy! The chips could be a little hotter but it isn't a big deal because I prefer everything to be burn-my-mouth hot and I can understand why they wouldn't want to serve that (customers can be ROUGH to deal with). I'm hoping at some point Bird's Nest will do something like popcorn Karaage, or a Karaage bucket, where it's 100% chicken. I'd down that in a hot second.
