Awesome burgers. Potato buns made on site, local Black Rock butcher used for meat. Quality. Beautifully made. Superb taste. Chips and burgers gluten free- separate fryer for chips; coeliac in family- love it.

Had breakfast at this spot, ordered smashed avocado on gluten-free bread – basic but spot on. Husband tried the Turkish menemen with sourdough, flavorful but a bit pricey. Coffee was good, and the Turkish tea had a delightful infused flavor. Overall, solid beachside spot with tasty options.

We had our soccer team dinner here. There were at least 40 of us including players, parents and siblings. Owner Jamie was very accommodating and organised. The food was delicious, he gave a set price for players, happy hour for our whole 2 hr sitting and service was great. Catered for gluten free and fussy kids. The seafood linguini I had was divine. The wood fired pizza looks so good. Next time will try. Nice cosy atmosphere and we had a great night!

Forget the chain gelato shops & pop in Gelato Lab in Balcombe Road Black Rock to be greeted like a welcome friend. John & Mitzi, along with Clare & the team make an already fun experience even better with delicious offerings of the freshest, most delicious gelati & icecreams. These lovely owners also take into account suggestions for flavours & it’s such a buzz to see your wishes come to life…try the (liquorice ice cream…delish!!) Dietary intolerances are also catered for with clear signage of dairy free & gluten free options. My dairy free 2 year old grandson feels like he’s walked into his very own ice cream shop as John takes time to show him the flavours available to him with taste testing an exciting bonus. Treat yourself & your family to this gem of a find!!

Fantastic food in this friendly Thai Eatery. I can recommend the Crispy Fried soft shell Crab. A reasonable selection of wines and many gluten free dishes. Thankyou Smile Buffalo, we will be back!
