Highly recommend this lovely little place. The manager Veronique and her staff are amazing and always give us such welcoming and wonderful service. The food is always fantastic! My wife and I are vegan, they always go above and beyond to make sure we have choices in here. Today we had the ‘Holly Jolly Veggie’ toasted sandwich from the festive specials and it was soooooo delicious! They have a really great selection of cakes for vegans too, today there were 10 different cake options for vegans which hardly ever happens anywhere else! Lots of gluten free too as well as normal cakes. Can’t wait to come again already! Thank you Lakeside Cafe xxx

Wow, what a place! We booked this restaurant looking on Google, halfway driving down from Cheshire for an overnight stay.
We couldn’t have been more pleased. The atmosphere was lovely, service exceptional (thank you Kari, who could not have done enough for us) and the food was absolutely mouthwatering. Loved the variety of options for gluten free and vegan too (have a very allergic baby).
