We have a Celiac kid and upon entering The Firehouse our hostess and server Rachel were well informed and put my mind at ease. The kids had the chicken & chips while I enjoyed a steak. We had great service and felt comfortable that the staff were knowledgeable on food allergies. It is stressful to be traveling and dealing with allergies and Rachel was grand! We would definitely return.

The service from walking in, to throughout the meal was amazing. Friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere and service. The food was absolutely amazing the roast beef gluten free meal was spectacular. The chicken fillet burger was so tasty and the fish fingers was so yummy for my daughter. At the end of our meal the staff was so warm, we left them a tip as we believe good service like that and good food need to be appreciated in every way that it can be. Thank you to Emma, feargal for such great service and to the other members of staff that tuck part in our experience at the crows nest. Love going to eat at this place.

The Toastery is a lovely wee place to stop for a bite. There was 5 people in our party and they made sure we had plenty of room to eat even though it was really busy. Also my daughter and I are both coeliac but they understand about cross contamination and were very careful to make sure everything was good for us and if we couldn't have it gave us an alternative. We had the toasties and they were amazing. So nice to get good tasty gluten free bread!!
Great selection of Gluten free snacks. Staff could not be more accommodating and helpful especially for disabled customers. The homemade shortbread is to die for.
As a Coeliac sometimes it is hard to get a Cafe with good gluten free bread and I must say I was really impressed with the fry and bread I got here not to mention the orange and chocolate cake I bought aswell 😍
