Excellent 40th birthday dinner party venue. Staff were very helpful and friendly and even catering for my Gluten and dairy intolerant partner..
Excellent..
Spacious café with great outdoor seating, perfect for a cozy lunch before exploring nearby attractions.

I had lunch here today with my daughter and husband. The food was excellent, with a good selection of salads. I had mushroom soup with gluten free bread and my daughter had the Guinness sausages, followed by a brownie pot. We also had a portion of chips. The café is spacious, with plenty of seating outside as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very pleasant place to have lunch before our tour of the castle.

The Parson's Nose is an award winning gastropub in Hillsborough. We visited on a Sunday wanting to try their roast dinner which we had heard is delicious.
We started off with the Butternut squash and chilli soup which was vegan and then to replace the wheaten bread they had some gluten-free bread. The soup was delicious and I was happy that they didn't hold back with the chilli, overall amazing starter.
For my main I had their Spinach & nut roast, spiced tomato relish, vegetable gravy. The nut roast itself was delicious as were all the components along with it. The gravy was also very tasty!
The food here is an easy 5 star, everything is of the utmost quality. The service is also very friendly and welcoming and I loved the cosy warm environment inside. My only issue was that the vegan options weren't very plentiful or easily identifiable. Would love to see more options but loved what I had and will definitely come back soon 😊
Charming cafe with an unreal brownie and massive banana bread slices, all at great prices; a must-visit for dessert lovers!

Cute coffee shop with friendly service. The gluten free brownie was *unreal* and the banana bread was delicious too and massive slice. Very reasonably priced too. Can’t comment on coffee as I don’t think it but something they’re obviously passionate about.
Highly recommend!
