Developing an allergic reaction to wheat and gluten in later life (and 2 weeks before my birthday) was a complete shock!! Having adhd I’m not great with change so immediately assumed I would never have a cake for my birthday ever again!! Then I found Nancy and Motley Bakes. Both birthday cakes I have had have been delicious, beautifully decorated with talent and care and best of all they are gluten free. Also you don’t have to get a bank loan to pay for the cake, unlike others, Nancy doesn’t cash in on peoples allergies and lifestyle choices. Nancy is kind, professional, understanding and incredibly talented. Thank you Nancy.

Leon - the chef provided great service, knowing exactly what I could and could NOT munch. He was happy to repeat info and clearly cared about the food - portions and quality. Cheers pallywal! Charlotte was today’s bar lady. She knew everything- including (joining Leon) to inform me that the gluten free gravy needs to be made specially, and just requires notice. It was excellent. I haven’t eaten gravy for years, so a treat. Tasty food, excellent portions and fantastic staff! Will DEFO return 😁

This another visit to Papa’j’s I missed grilled salmon and Cod Fish from the menu. Excellent food and great service! Menu has many allergens listed, which was handy as someone with celiac. Great elegant atmosphere so quick response by staff fast deliver food

We have had a number of enjoyable evenings here. The food isn’t 5 star, but they don’t charge 5 star prices! I think there is a good selection, and it always tastes good. Also cater for Gluten Free which is a life saver when you are a coeliac. The staff are never short of amazing, Milly and Sam are both stars and that’s just to name two. All in all, I’d happily recommend the Brache. 😊

I was impressed at how seriously they took our allergies - gluten, dairy & tomatoes. Friendly atmosphere. Free Available parking. Spacious interior. Delicious food & serve Halal too; Whole chicken regular combination (medium spice) with 2 sides (chips & spicy rice) with another large chips & large sweet potato wedges. Please note that the sweet potato wedges portion is not enough for 2 people as advertised though.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it was a good choice with really excellent food, which was reasonably priced, and delightful friendly staff. There was a wide choice on the menu and they were knowledgeable about what was gluten free. My only 'criticism' was that the portions were enormous! I certainly wouldn't have had a starter if I had known as it was the size I would have had for a main meal, and my main meal was easily enough to feed two people. Even my husband, who can eat a lot, was defeated. Fortunately the lovely waitress gave me a take away carton so I could take the rest of my meal away to eat the next day. I hate waste!! I shall know what to order the next time and will certainly return. Highly recommended.
