Can get VERY loud on the weekends and you are packed in like sardines so a star taken off for having to shout over the noise of restless children etc., which I know isn't the fault of the business but does detract from the overall experience. That being said, staff are lovely, food is great, especially the choices for a coeliac and it's also dog friendly in some parts which is fab.
The service was great from the moment we walked in. The staff were happy to be there, they were all had smiles and friendly.
As an awkward person who is both gluten free and a vegetarian, I was delighted with the choices available and the food was delicious 😋
We will definitely go again.
Love the lighter option menu where you can have half pizza and salad or smaller size pasta and salad. Great gluten free, vegie and vegan options. They have gluten free pasta and pizza so plenty of choice for dietary requirements.
Good selection of gluten free options. Yummy food, good service, friendly team. Can use their app to get loyalty points that means you get rewards and free things.
Firstly I asked for the special dietary requirements menu, and when the male server came over and asked who asked for it, I said it was me. Yet he gave it to one of the men in our group, who was actually sat on a different table. I am ensure why he wouldn't pass it to me directly.
The special dietary requirements information was a listing, rather than having information like milk free, gluten free vegetarian and, vegan option marked on the main menu. And there were very few clear options to choose from.
How difficult is it nowadays to have GF waffles or vegan ice cream.
Not been here for a few years as now live out of town, however was visiting, and this is my go to for a nice Italian meal. Lots of new young staff but main family people have not changed, which is nice to see. I reconsidered them but probably not the other way. Amazing meal and so accommodating to my gluten free friend. Would recommend to anyone for a nice Italian meal. Very reasonably priced also
First time in zizzi, rushden lakes. What a lovely experience, food absolutely amazing. Especially as we had a few coeliacs. Rhian our waitress was absolutely superb.
Lots of options for gluten free, you do need to look at the ingredient list as it's not listed on the menu. But as long as you tell the staff they are careful and everything comes out with a little allergen flag on.
My go to is butterfly chicken, macho peas and rainbow slaw. Yum!
