OMGoodness, I am absolutely over the moon to find this fabulous restaurant. As a Celiac it is very daunting to eat out and I am always sceptical that despite being labelled “gluten free” is it actually safe and can often be underwhelmed by the food being served. Not here !!!! The food is inspirational, and so tasty and I have never felt as safe eating my meal. The staff are so friendly and attentive. I am desperate to try their Sunday roasts but Tyne Tunnel traffic on the weekend is a nightmare, however I will be there soon. A delighted customer 💚💚💚

Gluten free fish cake is absolutely beautiful, chips and the batter were perfect, gluten free curry 10/10!! My partner tried my curry and said he would definitely order that himself next time. I called the shop to see if they had my delivery details as my app was down and the girl I spoke to on the phone was lovely! I’m newly diagnosed with coeliac disease so trying different places, I’ll 100% be back.. regularly!! Thankyou :) x

Great menu, such a lot of gluten free choices. The best g/f fish and chips I’ve ever had and cooked to order so very fresh and crispy. Ordering on the app is easy and quick.

Poor vegan options. Adequate gluten free options. The vegan option was a small piece of cauliflower and a small portion of rice. They brought the wrong starter out so one had to wait for a fresh one to be made. One beef was like leather. They tried to overcharge us by multiplying the wrong amounts for 2 courses £30 and 3 courses £36. No music. Food was tasty though and staff were friendly.

We have been lifelong fans of Di Meos ice cream and pizza, so when we got a date in the diary to get married the first port of call was asking them if they would come along to serve some of their fab ice cream for our guests!! It couldn't have been an easier process to book and we had contact with Rosa constantly along the way making sure we were happy with timings and flavours etc. - they even catered for our gluten free guests!! The ice cream cart they brought to the venue was fab and was equipped with not only the classic Di Meos wafer but 99 flakes too. The ice cream went down a treat with so many guests commenting on how great it was (I'm sure they'll have lots of new regulars!) No regrets, the best ice cream to go alongside the best day!

Amazing place for celiacs to eat out - most of the menu can be made gluten free and the kitchen is set up to eliminate cross contamination also. Special thanks to Deborah who went above and beyond to ensure that both my parents meals were gluten free. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone who struggles with a severe allergy and wants to be able to eat out.

Finally, after trying pretty much everywhere in Whitley bay, the beach house stands out from the crowd. We found all of the servers, particularly the young lady on the till were friendly and polite where professionalism seemed to flow naturally. There's seating inside and out, and it's a great area to sit and people watch. The food and drink is delicious and they cater for vegan and gluten free needs. I found 2 coffees and 2 hot sarnies for less than £19 was also very reasonable. I dare say this will be our new fave place to come.

Such an amazing place to go and experience eating under the dome. The service was very quick and efficient. The food co ers all dietary needs (we had gluten free fish and chips). It was just a fantastic time with my family that we will definitely be going back

Stopped by for lunch, we had the vegan platter and the lamb kofta platter, both were amazing! Also had coffees which were fab, the art on the flat white was superb. Highly recommend, there are vegan, vegetarian and meat options (forgot to check gluten free) on the menu.

Outstanding, arrived an hour early and they accommodated us. Service from Laney was special, chatty and made it her business to find out what she could about Gluten Free. Food was soooo good, 3 courses of deliciousness and a free glass of bubbles for our anniversary. Cannot wait to go back again. Gorgeous little place on the coast but a full house!

Really amazing place for lunch/brunch Bit of a spur of the moment and very glad we stopped by! The place is lovely, fab decor and relaxed vibe Food was delicious. I got the sweetcorn fritters which was a special and I really hope they put them on the main menu as they were so good!! Plenty of gluten free options on the menu too Staff were super friendly and helpful Would definitely recommend!

Really nice pub with really helpful friendly staff and really nice inside and all the food was lovely. They do great gluten free menus to and they are really strict with keeping to it . My daughter is celiac and we felt safe eating there with her and will be going back as she really enjoyed it .

Lovely bakery, tasty products, but by 11 30 virtually all sold out.. Could have more gluten free bakes! Otherwise such an asset and gem for Whitley Bay.

Ordered a few pizzas for daughters 18th . So easy to order online, fantastic friendly service. Ready on time. Pizzas were delicious, two of her friends including my daughter are celiac and they really enjoyed their pizzas as it’s so difficult to get GF tasty pizzas. Definitely recommend 100 percent.

Good atmosphere, excellent food and drink. A big plus for us was the fact that coeliacs are well catered for here by the fantastic staff. Gluten free IPA brewed by Allendale Brewery just makes this a place I will be going back to in the future.👍
