I love the classic diner feel, and Metro delivered on this experience. Mary was an excellent waitress with southern charm and very caring.
I had their infamous chicken and waffles with strawberry butter and sweet and spicy sauce, and it was fantastic. The waffles with syrup drizzled on top were soft and melted in my mouth. The chicken paired with the sweet and spicy sauce was near perfection.
My girlfriend got the BBQ Bacon Burger, a side of hash browns, and apple cobbler without ice cream.
This place is super accommodating to people who can't have gluten or dairy, they even have a specifically gluten-free menu.
The price for our food was just over 40 dollars for the two of us. It's a bit pricey but worth it.
I'd recommend this place for your breakfast, lunch, and dinner needs (they even have breakfast all day for my fellow "breakfast for dinner" lovers).

I realized when we did a keto friendly gig several years ago that dairy is not my guts only enemy, gluten is too. I didn't think O.G would ever be a go to. Then the 11 year old bday gurls picked O.G for their bday dinner. 16 friends & fam gathered to celebrate them on a Sunday afternoon. There was a lil wait, we were the 3rd large group of the day, the wait staff was amazing, I ordered the Margherita Chicken, my gut was truly happy for that option & my taste buds were singing! Manager Josh didn’t do good handling me as a customer. When I raised a concern he acted very nonchalant about it and offered no remedy. Not sure if it was a bad day but do better Josh. Not every customer that has an issue is a Butthead. I will say he made the pizza very good minus the missing topping. They forgot to put sausage on my pizza. That makes the pizza for me!😔. The issue was they didn’t have any gluten-free crust so he called and said he can make it into a hand tossed. I said OK. I thought I would be getting a large because all pizza at this time is the same price on the app for up to nine toppings, but I was trying to do less gluten. when I get to the store, I see they are handing me a small box and wondered why they just didn’t make a large pizza. Josh was called to the window and said a small gf is the same price as a small hand tossed so why would I give u a large when u paid for a small. I said on the app all sizes except for extra large are the same price so why wouldn’t I get a large hand tossed.? He said well we don’t have the coupons in store. You tell me how he did.
