Both indoor and out door dining at this time. Indoor, the seating is closer than any other restaurant at this time. No booths are blocker off so you will be right next to the booths to either side. There are glass screens which partially separate you. Server was knowledgeable of gluten free options and the food came out marked gluten free.
Our waiter seemed overworked and therefore wasn't very friendly. Don't think he ever smiled even when I told him it was my birthday and I wanted the free breakfast. No birthday wish or anything. Food was excellent though. Although I was disappointed that my gluten free English muffin was just a bun and not an English muffin and they didn't put butter on it.
Charming and cozy, this quaint tea shop is perfect for a lovely outing, especially during weekdays when you can enjoy a serene atmosphere.

Really quaint cute tea shop; took my mom, my sister and her toddler daughter to have an early Mother's Day celebration. So many places were booked on the weekends, including them, but weekdays will be the best time to go.
They were really accommodating and versatile in lots of areas: our appointment time (because you can never be on time with a toddler), the RSVP changed from 4 adults (someone backed out), and the menu. Tea fare wasn't bad and the price is very affordable per person; the best items were definitely the scones. I would suggest offering refills of the devonshire cream, since all 3 adults plus a 4 year old didn't really have enough... My favorite part of scones is putting on the cream...
My scone was a gluten free one, actually -- not bad at all; most of the time I would have expected another non-bread substitute, but no, they surprised me with a real scone, which is awesome. Unfortunately, if you decide on their signature tea fare, there is no gluten free cake, but -- they bumped me down a tier, which I appreciate. My sister and mom are not sweet toothed, and found the cake to be too sweet.
Personally, I think this place is worth a revisit, despite being small, and its situated in a very pleasant down-town area where you can walk around and check out nearby shops.

Great, personable service. Quick breakfast burrito hit the spot after a long walk. A wide variety of baked goods which also included gluten-free and keto. I had a black Americano and the brew was smooth and tasty.

I stumbled upon this place by accident. The atmosphere is adorable and eclectic. The counter person was very friendly and helpful. I try to stay away from bread so I ordered a salad. It was good but very small and pricey for the size. I also ordered the best chai latte in town. It was delicious but a little on the sweet side for me. I’m sure the sandwiches are the way to go. Someday when I feel like dealing with the gluten hangover I would love to try one. I would go back.

I keep coming back to this restaurant for the great food, amazing service, delicious pastries. The staff is kind, friendly, amazing all the way…every time I eat there, I feel like I’m eating with family. They think of everything! There are so many great options in the menu, even for a gluten free dieter like me. Their puff pastries are out of this world. The bombolones (mini doughnuts) are delicious!!! Our girl’s favorites!! And their empanadas are to die for. The Carlo’s croissant is one of our favorites, and I love the build your own scrambler. Thank you sweet and Savory, for making our tummies extra happy💕
My order was wrong when it was brought out for my to go order. Manager was happy to fix, and refund my money on my order, as well as personally assure that my order wasn't made with dairy or gluten as I have allergies.
We love the new location especially Happy Hour from 3-6 Monday - Friday. Loaded Nachos are always a favorite, but so are the guacamole and chips, cheese pizza but with gluten free crust, heirloom tomatoe pizza and cauliflower wings... Oh, I think I forgot the brussel sprouts. I like that they have Kombucha on tap and that it's part of the happy hour. We have been lucky to have Penny as a server more than once and she's a doll. Love her! Dessert is good too but not part of HH.

Very COVID safe still compared to other places which are starting to slack like Denny's. Masks required, disposable condiments etc. Menus were a little dirty so that's the only thing I saw that concerned me. Good thing to bring hand sanitizer always for things like that. But overall I enjoyed my visit here.
Great food; beans & rice are excellent & scratch made. No lard (unfortunately, but if that's your thing, worth noting). Great service. Went on Jan 2, 2019 - a Wednesday - with a large group of family. Place was packed! They already had a large group in their large groups room but accommodated us on the patio. Very clean restrooms. Vegetarian, low carb & gluten free options. Full bar. Non smoking, large, well heated (in winter), covered patio dining with TV. Small outdoor section where smokers can go to smoke (no dining here, of course, it's California). Parking lot not huge but there's free street parking as well.
