Had 3 gluten free dishes, 2 shrimp (on menu) and they were able to do fried rice gluten free. Service was quick except they were backed up on the fried rice service (sizzling plate served on table). Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Place often has a long line but it tends to go quickly. Saw Peter the owner a couple times grabbing food and bringing in various supplies.
The best non-sauced gluten-free chicken wings I've ever had. SOOOOO crispy, thanks to the cornstarch batter. And the beef and eggplant is also delicious!
This cozy spot in Chinatown offers a must-try range of affordable vegetarian dishes, with a welcoming vibe and loyal fanbase.

This place has been such a staple in my life, such a go-to place, it never even occured to me to write a review - I'd rather just go eat there again! But seeing the ridiculously low current rating for Lucky Creation here (only 4.2) I wanted to do try and nudge it in the right direction - UP.
Listen, I get it: The place isn't fancy. To non-Chinese customers who've never been there before, the service may seem gruff. But they have been dishing out an incredible, delicious variety of very affordable vegetarian Chinese food since the world was young.
My experience there has always been more than good. Example: When I lived in SF I ate there several times a month. Then I moved out of state and didn't get back to LC for four or five years. When I went back the first time after that break, and was standing outside, one of the waitresses saw me, recognized me (!!!) and waved me inside - AND she asked me if I wanted my favorite dish, the Sweet & Sour Pork. AFTER YEARS she remembered all that. So, for me, as a white woman, I can say that those customers who are put off by the service...Give it time. These are actually some of the nicest restaurant owners I have ever known.
And the food is ALWAYS AMAZING. Sweet & Sour Pork, Almond Chicken, the Gluten Puffs, etc. It's the only thing that makes me wish i still lived in SF.
A hidden gem in Chinatown, this spot offers delicious ramen with fresh ingredients, great vibes, and outdoor seating for a cozy meal.

As loyal patrons of Hinodeya Ramen Bar, we appreciate their commitment to offering high-quality vegan and gluten-free options. While they have various locations in San Francisco, this was our first visit to this particular one.
We ordered the Creamy Vegan Ramen, which was beautifully presented, as seen in the photo. The vegetables were exceptionally fresh, the broth had a perfectly balanced consistency, and the crispy kale added a delightful textural contrast. The portion was also quite generous, we were full.
Service was great—Bun and the rest of the team were attentive, well mannered and accommodating. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, with the added bonus of outdoor seating for those who prefer dining al fresco.
With such consistently excellent food and service, Hinodeya Ramen Bar remains a favorite, and we will definitely return.
Cozy spot with careful prep, offering delish sandwiches and great coffee in a friendly atmosphere—perfect for a quick and satisfying break!

The staff are super friendly and there's many gluten-free options available, despite the cafe being small they are careful about preparing things on separate surfaces. Super delicious sandwiches and great coffee!
Great food, and the owner was really nice! Very accommodating and worked hard to accommodate a gluten free member of our party. Beef noodle soup and soup dumplings were really delicious!
Huge selection of vegan food! Everything I tried was amazing. We went as a large group and we're able to get halal, vegan and gluten free food to satisfy our groups need.
Delicious mains and desserts await, paired with attentive service, making this spot a must-visit for future meals with loved ones.

GF friendly - offers GF pizza crust and pasta for a supplemental price - but I did not try the GF options.
The sauces, mains and desserts were all delicious and reasonably priced. The service was attentive and impeccable. I will dine here again and again. I can't wait to bring my celiac family to try the GF options.
