I love that this restaurant has gluten free options and takes allergies seriously! I wasn't thrilled with the service tho. My husband and I made a reservation Friday evening for a date. I picked on open table a standard table, assuming that's in the dining area not the bar. When we arrived, they were busy and it appeared they ran out of tables so they seated us at one the extended tables from the bar. I wasn't happy with the experience there, although the bartender took our orders quickly and was friendly, no one ever came back to check on us. I had a request for extra sauce but no one came by. I would have rather waited for a table than be seated at the bar, because you don't make a reservation to just sit at the bar.

We are regular customers at sparrow for takeout, but with young kids we don't often make it out to the restaurant. We dined in-restaurant with our kids this weekend and just wanted to call out the excellent service. The food, as always, was delicious (best gluten free pizza around! great cocktails, too) but just wanted to acknowledge the warm and attentive server and manager. We'll be back soon! Very lucky to have this place in WH!

We found this place online before a road trip through the area, as they had gluten-free pizza crust and vegan cheese available for me. My pizza was amazing, as was my fiance's regular crust/cheese pizza. Our server was lovely and the atmosphere was very old-school pub, with large brick pizza ovens in view. Definitely a place to visit in West Hartford :]

We just moved to CT and have been on the hunt for good gluten free pizza. This was one of the best gluten-free pizzas we’ve ever had!! And we loved that there was also an option for dairy free. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet but not in like an “is this place open” kind of way — just not overcrowded and chaotic like some chain restaurants can get. The staff were all friendly and our server was great. We will definitely be back again!

Visit this place a few times a month, as it’s our favorite restaurant for date night. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies and I can eat pretty much anything, and we both have plenty of options. My absolute favorite is the mushroom taco as well as the glazed pork belly and Baja fish taco! Don’t sleep on the street corn either. Tastes just as good as getting them from a guy making them out of his cooler on the streets of El Paso (I passed through El Paso on our way to Disneyland and this guy had a crowd surrounding him). Plantains are a nice sweet treat. Definitely check out their secret tacos!

Cannot get enough of this place. We will drive 50 minutes, absolutely fighting for our lives in Hartford bound traffic, and once we’re seated that experience is completely erased and replaced with a giant bowl of lamb hummus. Please if you get any starters let it be this. I love mixing and matching the small plates and we share with the table. The Brussels sprouts are always cooked perfectly and the batata harra is soooo delicious. Beware if you don’t like garlic (which would be wacky). The desserts are also lovely especially the pistachio cake. There’s a lot of naturally gluten free options on the menu which is awesome and it’s easy to eat here as a vegan/vegetarian as well. I’ve heard amazing things about the whole roasted cauliflower. There’s an open kitchen and you get to see the puffed up pitas come out of the oven. The staff is wonderful and if you’re lucky Bri will be your waiter. She knows the menu inside and out and will always recommend the best things on the menu.

I bought a dozen personal cakes for my son’s birthday, and they were absolutely amazing! My wife and daughter loved the chocolate chip gluten-free option, and the carrot cake, confetti, and a velvet cakes were a huge hit! I highly recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes!

Apps were expensive, and menu was not gluten-sensitive. The Sangria was the best wine I have ever had, however. The atmosphere was also very nice.

Four of us had a great lunch today. We were served by Taylor who was friendly and knowledgeable. One in our party needs to be gluten-free and Taylor was very helpful in letting her know what specific items could be made gluten-free. I had a turkey burger and I don’t order it restaurants because it’s usually dry and tasteless. But the turkey burger was seasoned, moist and delicious. Three of us had the eggplant fries which were a real treat. We will return soon.

Their gluten free pizza is the best I’ve had - and I’ve tried a lot! They have soo many options for GF pizza which is hard to find too. I do agree with one of the other reviews that the GF crust was a bit burnt/overcooked; I didn’t necessarily mind but you might want to request they don’t crisp the crust as long.

(+) Gluten free pizza dough is really pretty good. Not the cheapo cardboard, hard as a rock crust you find at too many joints that don't really care for their gf customers. (-) It's Mediocre yet very expensive! Not much cheese in the pizzas unless you pay for extra. GF pizza didn't have enough sauce, either.

Delicious GF egg and cheese sandwich. They can make anything GF on the menu which is great for a celiac like me. It was nice to have soft big bread as I hardly find that anywhere. The coffee and upstairs atmosphere was nice as well. We will return.

Really like this place… it was an early dinner as we were going to a show… I was looking forward to the chicken parmigiana and it didn’t disappoint! It was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Wife had chicken a la vodka with gluten free pasta. She too was very happy! I forgot to take pictures….

I'm so excited for this new addition to Bishop's Corner. Bowls are fun and refreshing! They are hydrating and cool and have no refined sugars. They also make their nut butters on site. This is a place for everyone - gluten free and vegan. There are so many options, I can't wait to try more. Superb staff and owners!

I've been coming here on and off for years, and the food has always been just ok, but over the past few months we've had outstanding food! And they are the only place in my rotation that will make most dishes gluten free for me. The drinks are expensive, and could use a bit of a heavier pour for the price, but the service is always great. This place is back on our weekly rotation.

Stopped in for takeout while on a roadtrip. Service was quick, the staff was kind and the interior very inviting. Gave off a family style atmosphere with a priority on good food, drinks, and comfortable environment. The burgers were flavorful and cooked to the right temperature. They also have a good gluten free bun option.

Really good! Everything tastes really fresh. First time we’ve tried it. I’d like to see more effort on ingredient transparency. Dairy, gluten, soy, nuts, shellfish, labeling should be everywhere. My daughter and I have food allergies and it’s so stressful + time consuming trying to find restaurants with that kind of information easily available to us. With the rise in allergic conditions, and auto immune conditions. I feel every restaurant should make it a priority to list, label and make visible, all ingredients and allergens used.

This is our go-to Thai place in Hartford County. The food is great, staff are extremely friendly, and the prices are good. Portions = hearty. Highly recommend: Spicy Hot Basil Noodles Basil Fried Rice Green Curry They handily accommodate vegan and gluten free diets, sometimes in the same dish. The fried tofu is incredible. Dine in if you can, getting it fresh from the kitchen beats having it sit in a box!

I love going to the cheesecake factory! We don't go often. But it is always fun when we do! The whole hustle and bustle of this restaurant, with its cosmopolitan air and sky high ceilings decorated in a "Blend of Victorian, Egyptian, and even a touch of Hollywood glam" the ambiance is second to none! ( : You feel like you stepped onto a movie set in Morocco! ( : The menu is phenomenal too! Wow! It is literally a book filled with all manner of culinary delights for you to enjoy! We used Delicacy Catering for our 150 person wedding and we couldn't be happier. It's hard to keep prepared food hot but not dry or overcooked for hours, but these guys have it figured out. We got the chicken in cream sauce, pork with blueberries, root veg smash, and two different sides of vegetables. Everything was perfectly cooked - green beans still had a little crunch the pork was tender. They are meticulous, and our menu satisfied our gluten free, vegetarian, and guest with soy, nut, and corn allergies. Only had to get 2 special meals for our vegan guests. Great job and a huge thank you.

Wow! The best food I have had in years!! Fresh, Healthy options, & Gluten-free!! I ordered online & the manager called to make sure that my order was Celiac Friendly. That is Top-notch Customer Service!! The kitchen made it possible to ensure my meal was Gluten-free by making my shrimp tacos is a separate pan. The ceviche was to die for! The salsa has the best flavor! The rice was delicious with the chopped veggies in it! Highly recommend if you have Celiac Disease & looking for fresh, healthy food!

The manager, Gina is extremely nice and attentive to customers. I have allergies and she ensures that my food is prepared carefully and without cross contamination. I come in about once a month or every other month and she remembers me each time. This is a place that I feel comfortable and welcome eating with my gluten allergy when Gina is working.

I've been to Goldberg's a few times. Good group of people that work there. They do have gluten free rolls - which is great for my girlfriend. The lunch sandwiches are better then the breakfast options - in my opinion. If your a breakfast burrito fan like myself, don't get your hopes up, you will be let down. Otherwise, solid sandwichs across the board.

Flavorful and simple. They have a couple kinds of tofu for veg folks and a lot of the noodles are veg by default. There are at least a couple options for vegan and gluten free, but you have to be specific about the ask. Our absolute favorite dish is the black sesame sticky rice balls, which we shamelessly order both before and after the meal 😅

Good food, good atmosphere, seems short staffed. I really enjoyed my strawberry boba tea and that they had clearly marked gluten free options. However, waiting at the counter for my item I got ignored as the cashier ran around dropping off orders and pulling things out of the oven. I eventually gave up on ordering a full meal and just got a drink so I could leave. That said, the food looked good and smelled great. I just didn't love the service. I would give this place a second chance, the ambiance is nice and lots of people seem to like to set up and work from the location.

One of the best places to stop for a delicious European style coffee with some french inspired gluten free macaroons on the side. If you are ever in West Hartford its worth checking it out. Best place ever!!!
