Came down to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby. Made reservations at Porcini for Friday night! Although it being extremely busy and is having to wait for a table everything was spectacular.
The staff was excellent, our waiter was awesome and the food was phenomenal!
They had a limited menu due to it being derby week - but the variety of options was enough to satisfy all 10 people in our party, including 1 who was gluten free.
The only negative was the moscato wine, was not sweet - which I questioned and was told that's what they had.....but I drank it anyway!
I got the penne chicken carbonara which was the best I ever had! My husband got the grilled shrimp risotto - which he said was so wonderful.
The atmosphere was delightful, super crowded due to it being Derby week - but I truly felt like I was in Italy - so super cool!
10/10 recommendation!!!
