I really love this place. I have Celiac disease and they have several gluten free options. The servers will go out of their way to make sure things are gluten free which is great. Good atmosphere the place always looks nice. The one downfall is sometimes the service can be extremely slow.
A supportive atmosphere where the staff goes the extra mile to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome.

As someone who has celiac disease, my options of out to eat restaurants are extremely limited. Daniel, the manager, went above and beyond to make things right and make me feel confident about outback being a safe choice!
Thank you.
Excellent dining experience. I've been to many Olive Garden locations in many states and this was the best. Great seafood and nicely done gluten free options.
This was our first visit to this Middendorf's Restaurant. We were scouting it out for a dinner we have for our faculty on the eve or our yearly conference. They were able to accommodate gluten-free diets and you select items which would be appropriate for a vegetarian diet, but not vegan. We ordered things on the menu and shared them with each other. Suggestions would include getting salad dressings on the side. Mine side salad with balsamic dressing, which was good, was swimming in it. The only other problem was the dryness of their hush puppies. The menu offers smaller and larger portions on many of their entrees. The costs of our meals were reasonable for what we were served. Plenty of parking and easy access were appreciated. This restaurant seats 450 people and has room for private functions and large groups. Their original restaurant in Manchac is located near I-12 and I-55. It seats 550. The Slidell location is right off I-10. We decided to hold our dinner there. For those who don't wish for seafood and their very popular fried thin catfish, there are items on the menu from which to chose. We enjoyed it and think you will also find it a great choice.
Well to start with ill say this is my new favorite spot for seafood. I started with the seafood nachos. They were incredible. I really enjoyed how fresh the chips were and the shrimp tasted like they were ripped out the water this morning. I followed it up with blackened reddish that was cooked perfectly. Some places tend to over season it but this place hit the seasoning mark on point. I really didn't have the room for it but I'm a bit of a gluten so to finish off my dinner I enjoyed the bread pudding. Not to mushy or sweat. I'm glad that I stopped in. I will definitely be back!
This spot turned our wedding into a fairytale with stunning, artistically crafted cakes that wowed both our eyes and taste buds!

Marguerite’s Cakes saved our wedding day! The bakery we originally chose closed down and the Marguerite’s team eased all of our stress. They made our beautiful cakes using so much artistry. The magnolias on the wedding cake were hand made by Brandi and absolutely stunning—exactly what I envisioned and was hoping for! The cakes tasted even better than they looked and we were so pleased to work with everyone Marguerite’s Cakes! The wedding cake layers we chose were Italian crème, red velvet, and almond. They were incredible and our guests were raving about each layer! The grooms cake was gluten free chocolate and our guests could not even tell! Very moist and flat out delicious!
Offering a warm vibe and a welcoming experience that makes you feel at home from start to finish.

Extremely friendly service. This level of judgement-free effort to accommodate a gluten intolerance is unheard of for a such casual dining facility. I felt held from the moment I walked in the door to the very last bite of my lunch
Expect a welcoming vibe with a knowledgeable team ready to chat about options, perfect for a fun meal out with friends.

Someone came out and spoke with me about the gluten free options that were available. She was very knowledgeable on the subject and I felt comfortable ordering food.
We had a great time with friends while dining here. The food was delicious!
Very delicious! I like the new menu. It actually gives me more options to eat on my special diet. When we went they said zoodles is back on the menu if you are gluten free it is very delicious. They also cater to my dairy free diet by using olive oil instead of butter. If you have a regular diet if they can make my special diet taste so good I'm sure the food is going to be super flavorful.
The service is wonderful and makes great suggestions.
The ambiance is nice and perfect for a small family outing and especially for date night.
They do have different hours than a regular restaurant so check to make sure you plan your meal time.
Experience a rustic vibe with fresh-cut crispy fries and standout burgers and sandwiches, making for a tasty and enjoyable outing.

We had the waygu smothered burger and the spicy chicken sandwich, both were excellent though my burger was not medium rare. The fries are fresh cut and super crispy but are gluten free which was a plus for me. Service was good and it's a nice rustic atmosphere
Great pizza. Though i bought my daughter a gluten free pizza and I swear its the frozen one I bought at the grocery store with their toppings. Melted cheese pattern (you know what Im talking about) was a giveaway. I wasnt impressed with that and its the only reason its not a 5 star.
