I took some out of town guests here. We all enjoyed our drinks and the friendly staff seemed to be working hard. Unfortunately, my friend (who ordered the corned beef hash) was quite disappointed. She threw away half her meal and said, "I think that's the worst corned beef hash I've ever had. There was hardly any meat in it and it smells like fish." 😳 It really wasn't what I was hoping for when taking my guests out. 😕 I can see this is a small family-owned business, and I want to support their efforts in our community. I kindly suggest reviewing the quality control practices in the kitchen. (Also, the chicken on my salad seemed microwaved and was oddly cold and warm.) Service was good. They offered outdoor menus and payment for those coming from the beach that didn’t have a mask to wear in store. I loved that it was a VERY easy walk from the beach. We just ordered our food and walked back and were able to enjoy our food at the beach. The gluten free wrap that you can have any sandwich with was good and didn’t fall apart like most do. Very yummy!

Second time here second review. They have REALLY yummy gluten free hamburger buns! But be careful! Some of the hamburgers come with crispy fried onions on top 🤔 somehow I miss that and my burger I'll be incredibly delicious and fried onions when it came. Apparently the server was not aware of this when I ordered a gluten-free bun and did not warn me this burger came deep fried battered onions. My bad for not reading the description well enough but I am blind so it happens. I brushed them off as best I could but today I feel like I have gluten flu. The burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had the meat was tasty and tender and not compressed into a hockey puck like most burgers you get. My partner equally enjoyed his Burger and the onion rings which he said were really good. I got the house made chips and they were delicious! We're from Buffalo so we know wings! This place has some delicious wings! The house sauce with the bacon in it is amazing. It does not lend itself to the blue cheese which was not complimentary to those wings however, the blue cheese was delicious and did not taste like commercially made blue cheese salad dressing so I'm thinking this was housemade. They have a very good selection of draft beer according to my partner and he was very pleased. They serve a locally made soda, Northwoods which is really good. Try this place they really know how to do food. There was a very long wait, 40 to 45 minutes, but the food was really worth it. The only suggestion I have is when you give them your phone number to text you when your table is ready try to get the Wi-Fi password there is horrible reception to get internet on your phone. Neither of us couldn't do it but that's okay we are forced to just sit there and talk with each other. Something we don't mind.

I love this place. They have a dedicated frier as of 2024 and the food is good in comparison to many options in the area. Also feature live music and some of the best commercial mead in the area.

Adorable atmosphere. Cute, nostalgic kinda place. Great for lunch. Service is excellent! While the menu is a little limited, they do have a paired down gluten-free menu (which is nice).
