Celiacs can’t eat here. I was so excited to see that they advertise so many gluten free options. Paid $3.50 fee to get cash bc they don’t take card and then when I got up to the counter to order I was told they couldn’t accommodate me because of cross contamination. Please don’t say things are gf if you can’t prepare them gf. It’s really demoralizing to people with food allergies to show up and be refused service.
Perfect for large gatherings, this spot features an inviting atmosphere and a unique vegetarian buffet that even first-timers rave about.

I arranged a large group reservation for 25 people for a work event at the Red Sea, and it was a great experience! The food was excellent, accommodated our entirely vegetarian menu and had options for gluten free folks, and the service was great. We had a buffet of the vegetarian sampler menu options. Many of our group had never eaten Ethiopian food before and people loved it. I worked directly with the owners, who are lovely, to set up the reservation and the whole experience was easy, stress-free and accommodating.
A hidden gem with a cozy vibe, offering a unique grab-n-go menu, strong espresso, and a welcoming atmosphere that'll keep you coming back.

This place is truly a hidden gem. The owners were really welcoming, the service was great, the food was delicious, and the prices were good. They have grab-n-go Ethiopian lentils with injera and a full coffee bar complete with strong espresso and the option of oat milk. I had no problem finding vegan and gluten free options here.
I took too long to finally try this restaurant. I am so glad that I did. I enjoyed the goat biriyani, mini samosa (so cute), and the chai tea. All were made to order with care and quality in mind. This is a slow food experience that is worth the wait. The portions are generous, would be a nice place to share a few dishes with friends. It is a little restaurant, with 3 tables for 6 and some 2-seater tables. I like that the menu is conscious of different dietary needs and choices, including things like animal products, gluten, and nuts. This is also a place where you come for the food, not the service experience, practice patience and kindness and you will be rewarded.
