Amazing food! I'm gluten free and they took necessary precautions for me. Best fried rice I've ever had. Owners son has food allergies, so he knows! Will definitely go back again!
A hidden gem in St. Paul, known for its unique Cambodian flavors and a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a cold winter day.

Amazing, high quality Cambodian Cusine. Cheng Heng is honestly my favorite restaurant in St Paul - such unique flavors and so many great choices. Today I had the curry soup, which was heavenly on a cold winter day. My favorite appetizer is the chive cakes - so crispy! Awesome for someone like me who needs to eat gluten-free. The owners are a lovely couple from Cambodia who have run this place for years. Don't avoid this culinary gem just because it's in a crowded area on University Ave. They are one of the few restaurants that has their own little parking lot right next to the building.
Food is REALLY good here! Impressed by their sandwich station. They bake their own bread which unfortunately was sold out & I can't have gluten. Their version of a French baguette with assorted deli, fresh veggies & pickled carrots is the traditional vietnamese sandwich.
Pho broth is really flavorful. My bf had the noodle stirfry, which was very good! Highly recommend!!
