We moved to the area about 2 1/2 years ago and found this little gem! Excellent food, kind service and there is a large menu of GF food. Family of Celiacs here who have never been glutened. The portions are generous and we always have leftovers. Not sure why others have given a low rating because my family has never been disappointed about anything!
Fresh produce and tasty bowls make this spot a local favorite for healthy eats and speedy service that keeps fans coming back for more.

I love Crisp and Green. So easy to eat gluten free and all the produce is always so fresh and delicious. Not to mention, they have the best acai bowls in my opinion. I have been a long time customer and I just needed to fill out a customer service form for the first time. They were speedy and helpful from start to finish. Crisp and Green does it all the best!

My parents came to town and I wanted to take them somewhere upscale and cool. Josefina was just the right place! The pizzas are so good and they do have a gluten free crust option for both the pizza and pasta so big bonus for that too. Great experience overall.
With stunning lake views and consistently impressive offerings, it's a must-visit spot that keeps drawing fans back for more.

Came in from out of town and had an incredible experience. The food was great. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I was really glad to see that there were gluten sensitive items on the menu and got the wings. What I really want to call attention to is the bar, though. They were really in the weeds on a busy service, but Rui did an amazing job answering our questions and crafting the cocktails. Bartenders that can keep up with a busy service AND be a conversationalist are really hard to find. I ended up getting two blueberry yum yums because I liked the first one so much. I wish I was local because I’d love to come back for dinner some time.
I had a really pleasant experience at the Sakana Sushi in Plymouth. Because I am gluten-free, a hibachi seems like a bad idea, but they were very accommodating. I didn't have to bring my own gf sauce or anything! :D I just told my server in advance and she knew exactly what I could and could not have. They just made my dish of choice in the kitchen, while everyone else had their meal prepared in front of them. I still got to enjoy the show and have food & sake flung at me! The chef was friendly and entertaining, although sometimes I had trouble understanding him. Everyone in our party thought the food was delicious, their meat & seafood items were cooked just right. My veggie & fried rice dish was surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting much, b/c some restaurants tend to write off gluten-free customers & don't really try to make things flavorful...well, this was super delicious & piping hot! We'll definitely be going back. The service was great, our waitress was very attentive. Thursday evenings aren't busy, so it's a good time to go.
Extremely disappointed to find they changed their gluten free crust to a basic pre made crust. They used to make their own gluten free crust from dough and it was almost as good as the real thing! The new gluten free crust is not good
Epic ice cream with tons of mix-ins and flavors, though some feel it's a bit on the pricey side.

Delicious ice cream, no question. I love the variety and all the mix-ins. A little pricey for ice cream. Several dairy free options, several gluten free options (ask for their allergy guide so you can see the complete listing). Unfortunately, there is cross-contamination with the ice cream scoops. We have had several times where our dairy free ice cream has a colorful streak of regular ice cream. If you have a strong intolerance, see if they can use a fresh scooper.
With a unique menu featuring creative dishes and a lively atmosphere, it's perfect for families, dates, or business gatherings by the lake.

We chose Macanda to celebrate my birthday and was able to get a reservation for our family of 5 at a reasonable time. It also happened to be Restaurant Week so I chose my meal from their exclusive menu. It was nice having more selections that were gluten-friendly. As well as food that our twin 3 year olds and 6 year old would eat. The restaurant did get busy but we ordered pretty quick knowing we had borrowed time with the kids. The server was busy with other tables but we didn't mind. After we ordered we were pretty focused on our family and entertaining the kids. The atmosphere was lively and great for dates to meeting up with friends or business gatherings. Versatile space and beautiful view of Lake Minnetonka.

We've been here half a dozen times and the food never disappoints. It's very good and absolutely reminds us of living in San Diego and regularly eating baja fish and shrimp tacos. The fresh made chips and guac are also fantastic. Best of all for my wife are the numerous gluten free options available (the also have many vegan options).
We come for the food, but the atmosphere is consistent with baja Cali, as are the drinks. It's well thought out, overall. Bathroom walls are adorned with posters of men and women at the beach and/or in bathing suits.
Given the location in Wayzata, it's not surprising some of the servers and clientele are a bit snooty, but the other positive aspects of Baja Haus outweigh this minor issue.
Expect a mix of perfection and letdowns, with standout main dishes overshadowed by a poor start and a lingering hope for future visits.

Started with oysters that weren't detached from the shells or properly cleaned. I did my best to do away with them and they weren't all that fresh, seemed dry. Then the main I had the seared halibut and a NY strip steak both were cooked to perfection. They even made the steak sides gluten free. Very considerate on their part and for dessert. It was a light airy, gluten friendly can't recall the name.
So good.
All in all the food was great but the oysters ruin the experience. They did not write it off the bill and for an owner that strives in perfection I couldn't believe something came out like that.
The service was great so maybe in a few month I'd give it another try.

I went there with a friend, and we were immediately asked where we wanted to sit. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day. The service was very quick, and there was never any pressure to leave either. The servers were very kind and helpful. The menu provided a variety of options, including delicious sandwiches, soups, bowls, and salads. Gluten-free options were marked on the menu. I ordered the grilled salmon, and my friend ordered a Rueben. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that left me very satisfied with my visit. Highly recommend for a casual lunch or a group dinner.
