Rising Trout was an interesting place to go for breakfast. It is an eclectic little coffee shop with decent seating options, books for sale, and fun decor.
Having food allergies, I wasn't too optimistic about items I might be able to eat. There was one gluten-free option, nothing dairy free other than the two alertanive milks used in coffees. Things were clean, but I could see the potential for cross contamination. So watch out for that. I had a Chai latte with almond milk. It was tasty.
My husband said he really enjoyed the breakfast food and was impressed with the coffee. Kuddos to the staff and the atmosphere. We would return. I'm giving a lower rating for lack of allergy friendly food items, but all around a good place to stop.
A local gem on Main Street, loved for its consistent quality and charming atmosphere, making it a top pick for lunch in Lewistown.

I'm kicking myself for not writing this review sooner. Brooks Market has always been my favorite stop while in town. I've been going here for ten years and all I can say is Lewistown is so lucky to have this special place on Main Street. I've never had a bad meal here and have always had great service. It says a lot when an owner of a successful business still shows up every day to greet people, help bus tables, and cook.
My favorite thing on the menu is their Granite Peak wrap. I don't think i've ever ordered anything else, because it's just that good. My husband is celiac, so he has a gluten allergy and they have multiple options for him as well. He usually gets either a sandwich or a pizza, and always raves about them. If you're in Lewistown or just passing through, this is a must stop for a great lunch.
Charming breakfast spot with a cozy vibe, lots of parking, WiFi, and a serene atmosphere featuring soft background music.

Cute breakfast spot with WiFi. There's an area in the back that allows for more people. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Soft music plays in the background. Plenty of parking in the lot as well as on the street. We got some baked goods to go for the day, scrambled eggs with bacon along with a latte and frozen hot chocolate. They do have some gluten free bars in the cooler near the door.
Yummy food and huge margaritas. The waiter didn't know how to answer questions about gluten and didn't offer to find out. It may have been a language barrier though. I stuck to nachos and still enjoyed myself.
