One of the best gluten free /vegan bakeries I've ever been to. The meals are fantastic and the desserts are devine! They make delicious cinnamon rolls, but the breakfast foods are my fav!

I heard that golden phoenix had gluten free food. So I went there to see their menu. I was told to look online. So I left and went across the street to Chakara. Much better place.

My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast, and I have been struggling to find good gluten free things to eat. We ordered a gluten free waffle and it was delicious! I asked the waitress what brand it was and Brain came out with a bag and mentioned you couldn’t buy it at the store and said Merry Christmas! What a great experience, great people and good food.

They delivered 9 sheet pizzas and 4 gluten free pizzas on time and they were all hot! They also included a ton of napkins and plates to help us out. Very much enjoyed by the families of Unity Soccer and we will be using them again!

We had a party here for my husband's 75th birthday. Nicole was so helpful with planning the details for 18 guests, and we used the Pinot room, a lovely private space. Our excellent server, Tia, was friendly and efficient, meeting the needs of a gluten free diner and 6 children under the age of 12. The food was delicious, including an antipasto platter, salad and 4 entrees chosen and served family style. The servings were generous, and almost everyone took home enough for another meal! All of the guests commented on the decor, service and quality of the food. I would recommend Bocaccini's to anyone looking to plan a party or just enjoy a meal anytime.
Great food! Gluten free options available, which is appreciated. Staff was very informative and friendly. Quick service with great atmosphere. Definitely recommend a visit!
This is a great restaurant that is being underutilized by the community. Food is fantastic and they have great gluten-free options. The family that owns it is very nice.

such a cute little ice cream place! i was very excited to see they had gluten free cones. it's important to note they rotate through the flavors on the website, so what you see on there might not be what they have in store!
Expect a tasty treat made with fresh ingredients, but be prepared for a bit of a wait since it's a one-person operation!

Called an order in and was informed it’d be 45 min, thought that sounded kinda of long until we got there and realized only one person was running the entire shop! Pizza was delicious and exactly as ordered. Would definitely order again! I see a lot of people
complaining about price, you can tell they are using fresh real Ingredients, worth the price. They have gluten free pizza as well and it’s definitely the best in Rochester.
I hope these great local business can make it with such a crazy labor shortage.
I really only write reviews when I find things I love. The coffee was amazing but also the food surprised me by being super amazing as well! Also gluten free options which I appreciate so much!
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Village of Fairport. The food has always been outstanding as well as the service. I love that they are so gluten free friendly. They have gf pasta and pizzas. In my opinion the best gf pizza in the area. Love what they have done to the place, great bar area, outdoor seating in the back for summer time and now the outdoor patio in the front with the fire pits great for the Fairport Community!

Chakara offers an ambient dining experience with excellent waiting staff and terrific food. Everything here is good, including the asian-fusion entrees that include superbly done Thai, Japanese, and Chinese dishes.
But what makes Chakara truly stand out are its specialty sushi rolls – Chakara offers some of the freshest, best prepared sushi in Rochester, with sublime pairings of flavorful ingredients, and easily tops out as the best sushi option in the suburbs of Fairport and Perinton. It outshines competitors like Taisho Bistro in Henrietta's business district and other parts of the city.
Of particular note are the Honey Sandwich roll which is a delightful combination of crunch, sweetness, and flavor; the Fire House roll with its simple but delightful combination of crunchy shrimp tempura and spicy tuna; and more exotic rolls like the Battera roll which fuses eel and tuna with a dash of sweet eel sauce and a hint of spicy mayo.
If you're a fan of jalapeño in your sushi and extra sizzle, you've come to the right place. The Caterpillar roll, the Spicy Girl roll, and the Hot Girl roll all live up to their names and offer intriguing combinations of flavor and heat.
If you're like me and revel in gentler and sweeter flavor profiles with a hint of crunch, they've got you covered with options like the Fall in Love roll, the Sweetie roll, and the First Kiss roll. But to be fair, there's a lot to fall in love with here, and it warrants a few take-out trips to fully explore the menu and see what tingles your taste buds.
Portions are hearty and the amount of meat in the entrees is substantial. Nothing here feels like they are cutting corners and you get your money's worth.
In addition, there's a variety of interesting noodle options and the ability to piece together your own unique entree with a combination of rice, noodles, and prepared meat (chicken, beef, and shrimp). They even offer spinach noodles and gluten free options.
If it isn't evident, I could shower Chakara with praise for paragraph after paragraph, so if you have any doubts about trying a new place (and maybe even making it a staple of your eat-out habits), be rest assured that your time and money won't ever be wasted here.
Bon appétit and itadakimasu いただきます – happy eating!
P.S. don't forget to try the deep fried ice cream for dessert!!
