My partner and i stumbled upon Delish in 2023 and we’ve been coming back at least once a month ever since. Every time feels like we’re welcomed by good family friends. Living in the neighborhood is dangerous because we’re tempted to go much more often than we should!
The owners are delightful, the food is consistently amazing (dine in & carry-out), and the service is always flawless. Our go-to order is the veggie combo, which comfortably feeds 2-3 people. We especially appreciate being able to access gluten free injera (it’s good to call ahead to confirm availability; they do run out on busy days).
A local gem with a cozy vibe that draws regulars for its unique atmosphere and a notable selection of gluten-friendly options.

Great local pub. Friendly service and great food. My wife loves the Reuben so much that we usually end up here at least once a week. They're also gluten-friendly they stock a couple GF beer cans, and safe GF food options. My go-to is the GF Reuben with potato side and GF IPA.
A cozy spot buzzing with energy, serving up perfectly cooked dishes and fruity cocktails, perfect for a vibrant night out.

So. Delicious. My friend and I split the fish & shrimp vatapa, while I had a side of plantains and they had a side of hush puppies. Everything tasted wonderful. The fish, especially, was cooked perfectly -- it melted in my mouth. We also enjoyed two fruity cocktails because, well, it's a rum bar. The place packed on a Thursday evening, and we were lucky that we didn't have to wait long for a table in this small restaurant. Despite how busy it was, our server was a delight. She seemed to know exactly when to check on us and when to let us eat without interruption. There were so many gluten-free things on the menu that I want to try; I will definitely go back when I'm next in Columbia City!
Enjoy vibrant Ethiopian flavors in a cozy atmosphere with a diverse menu perfect for sharing, plus a warm vibe that invites conversation.

The best Ethiopian food in South Seattle. Plus an excellent atmosphere. The bar is awesome. Great date night spot. Totally gluten free menu and lots of vegan options. Loved it!
I love dining in here its so good and tasty and the service is great, however, I ordered online to pick up this morning and after paying $2 more for gluten free toast, I was left with untoasted cold bread. If I wanted bread I could've gotten it from home. I ended up throwing it away and am disappointed to say I won't be ordering takeout from here ever again. Do better please.
The service is always quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. The location is a bit cold in design, but clean, with outdoor seating, and plenty of parking. Finally their menu is great, love a good rice plate or Musubi. It's a pricey lunch, but that's the cost of quality. They could use gluten free soy sauce and labeling on their menu.
Known for outstanding Ethiopian flavors, this spot is a local favorite for carryout, with generous portions that satisfy.

Delicious food with friendly service. We normally get the lamb combo or chicken combo. Either of those is more than enough food for 2 people. My friend is gluten intolerant so they always make gluten free injera for her.
The food was fabulous. The waitstaff was very well trained in what to look for in the way of gluten free. (great) The atmosphere was terrific. We sat outside.
Cozy and inviting spot with standout dishes and a great vibe; make a reservation and enjoy drinks next door while you wait.

Very homey and warm place with delicious food and very attentive knowledgeable waiters. Arancini, chocolate torte, and roasted carrot salad were the standouts for me, sadly they were out of the whole fish by the time we ate. Will be back to try that.
They were able to accommodate GF - though not sure that it would be celiac safe - a lot of the starters are GF and two of the desserts were.
Call to make a reservation and/or have a drink next door at Persephone while you wait, you can bring it with you when your table is ready as they’re owned by the same people.
