We chose this pub because it has a great GF menu,I had the sweetcorn fritters and lasagne from the menu and I was disappointed, the three sweetcorn fritters were tiny and I'm convinced they had been fried separately, after waiting nearly an hour for them to be bought out, they really weren't worth the long wait, another half and hour before the lasagne came out with chips and garlic bread,my husband questioned it ,and they said sorry we forgot it was gluten free and went on to take off the garlic bread with their fingers, don't think they have ever heard of cross contamination. We won't be returning.

Wonderful cafe/bistro…so much so eaten a couple times whilst in the area.
Make time to visit this gem of an eatery, freshly prepared vegan/vegetarian/plant based food.
Extremely welcoming staff on my visit, Wendy, Tina, not forgetting Kerry and Josh.
I can honestly say being a meat eater did not deter me from enjoying the tasty menu! Including their colourful salads!
Coffee is fabulous, cakes even more so, freshly baked on the premises, they also offer gluten free.

Lovely little coffee shop, friendly staff and service. We had a gluten intolerant in our party, and although the g/f cakes had sold out, they went out of their way to prepare an alternative.
Nice wee shop with antiques and collectable to browse. It's also quite central in Alford, near the transport museum and high street shops, with a huge car park, so parking not a problem.

Great help from staff to ensure we had the right choice for gluten free options to hand. They even brought a sample of the chilli out to ensure it wasn't too spicy for us before we ordered.
