We enjoyed a family meal & we felt it was very nice but vegetables are bit sparce.
Dessert was very good portions.
My daughter who is wheat/gluten/dairy free could only have a pot of tea for dessert as there was no choice for her.
We have eaten here for at least 16 years or more on our frequent visits to Suffolk. The food is superb and innovative and far surpasses some Michelin restaurants we have eaten at. I require gluten and dairy free food and they always go the extra mile to ensure everything is fine for me. What impresses is that they offer at least 3 desserts catering for my dietary requiements and they are always different and unique. In most places I just get offered vegan ice cream or sorbet we think that the prices charged are very reasonable when you consider the time, the best ingredients and presentation involved. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful. We think it's the best value restaurant in Suffolk.
Really nice place and staff seamed nice and happy to help, just moved into the village and thought I'd give it a look, all prices reasonable and pizza was top notch, good choice of food on menu and cater for gluten free, wasnt a issue bringing my daughter like some places and also they are dog freindly, looking forward to hog roll Sunday and nice pint to wash it down, just found my first local that I will be happy returning to,
Update been back many times and now my local and very happy with it the staff are more than welcoming and get to know you as a person or family, top rated pub from my opinion that's for sure only thing I would say it needs it either a juke box or to play louder music for the bar side of things, but that's not a negative that's just my opinion
