So happy with the knowledge of our server and the amount of choice available for someone who has to follow a strict gluten free diet. I took my own pitta along which they toasted for me! Really tasty food and great staff that care. Have never had Turkish white wine before but we ordered it on our waiters recommendation with a litte but of fear in our hearts! It was soooo good. I have Coeliac Disease and all the 'Lounges' have an extensive, separate gluten free
They do always draw your attention to their allergen notice as they do have allergens in the kitchen. But I feel they take good care to prevent cross contamination. Meal was lovely, service excellent, staff all lovely.
Do not cater for Coeliacs. I ordered the English Breakfast but they swapped the sausage for one piece of bacon as they donât have gluten free sausages (despite offering GF toast on their menu). I ordered Hash Browns but when I checked as they arrived at my table about how they had been cooked, they said theyâre cooked in a fryer that is also used for gluten items. I explained that I would have been sick if Iâd have eaten them but they didnât appear to care. I paid ÂŁ8.99 for the plate of food shown (plus much anxiety due to my concerns they donât appear to comprehend the Coeliac customerâs needs).

Walked by this place for years and had no idea their food was so wonderful. Great for those days on a walk for a warm meal and nice environment.
I had a Gluten Free fish and chips! I was so happy, its been years since I had batter, plus the chips and tartar sauce were just perfect. My husband had Pigs in Blanket Stovie, well it looked and smelled wonderful and he thoroughly enjoyed a new take on a Scottish dish.
Easy to get a seat, staff were really lovely and attentive, the pub allows dogs so that's always nice to watch the dogs enjoying the pub and free strokes.

I booked for 13 people to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of my business, Fight Klub. I found Andi very helpful and responsive in catering for our dietary requirements which included vegan and gluten free and the booking process was stress free.
On the day, our table was clearly marked and the table where our food selection was to be set was also right next to us and easy to access. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food came out right on time. The vegan and gluten free options were kept separate from the other food options and everything was fresh.
I thought the buffet selection was excellent value, there lots of choice and lots of food and we were allowed to take our time over eating - at no point did we feel rushed. We were given cardboard boxes (big tick) to take the left overs away with us - so no wastage.
Despite The Yard being very busy with other customers, our group was well looked after and everyone enjoyed the afternoon.
I would have no hesitation in recommending The Yard for large (and small) group bookings and look forward to going back there again.
The food is delicious and reasonably priced, as were the drinks. All in all, great value and a fun place to go.

Christmas meal was lovely, Iâd accidentally been put down as gluten free by my friend who ordered but as soon as I said I wasnât a Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and extra gravy were very quickly bought out by Ella and Abi who were serving us. Very attentive to our needs but not over the top.
The whole 3 course meal was very tasty and well worth the money
