We had dinner for 6 people. The service was friendly and informative. The meals all came out at the same time, and were superb. I was especially pleased to see such a variety of gluten free meals on the menu which is very rare. I would highly recommend The Chequers whether you require a gluten free diet or not. There were also plenty of vegetarian, vegan and dairy free options.
Fabulous find, after just deciding to take a drive from Liverpool along the waterfront we came to Crosby waterfront and beach then found the Lakehouse.
We were a little hungry and had a snack outside in one of the little cabins.
My wife is Coeliac but there was something for her to eat and gluten free beer too.
It must be said that the two lads on the bar were very helpful and the chef.
Really great find and will be letting our kids know about this place as it’s great for all the family and walking etc
