Food was great and large portions ( too big to finish) and gluten free batter is an option so my partner who has an allergy was very happy !

My partner and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast here during our visit to Henley-on-Thames. There was a great selection of gluten free options, and very little waiting time- perfect!

Really nice first experience here. Very professional, very friendly staff, nicely decorated dining room and well-executed food during relaxed Sunday lunch by the patio window overlooking the river. We had a yearning for a burger and they even had gluten free bun. Topped with caramelised onion, cheese and plenty of quality bacon and despite the (admittedly large!) patty being more dense than we’d prefer, the quality of ingredients and preparation was excellent enough for us to want to return soon.
This charming old-style pub offers a rustic, comfortable atmosphere with a large inglenook fireplace and a pleasant south-facing beer garden overlooking a historic windmill. Its friendly service and dog-friendly setting create a welcoming space for those seeking gluten-free options.

Wow. What a find. I've run and cycled thru Turville many times but never made the trip to try the pub. Such an excellent lunch.
The venison pie was delicious and make sure you get you get the chips (even as a side).
Dog friendly. Gluten free fish was very good (as I was told).
Service was super friendly.
I will be back.
