If you are vegan and/or gluten free, this place has NO options. There is only one thing on the menu that i could eat... the salad. :( which tasted ok. Nothing to shout about and for $24 way too small and expensive. No bread (not that i could eat it). I was disappointed as i was hungry. There are not many food places around the area anyway and i had really hoped that i can get a nice meal here, as it looks high-end. They didn’t have a menu outside and no internet. So i couldn’t check beforehand. It was dark, foggy and cold outside, so can’t even say i at least enjoyed the view. Regretted walking in the moment i saw the menu.

I had high expectations for my second visit to this restaurant in Big Sur after an incredible first experience. The charming atmosphere, kind staff, and delicious food made me want to share this gem with my friends. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to my previous one.
We went on a Sunday, and the place was extremely crowded, making parking difficult. We waited at least 30 minutes to be seated. Once at our table, we noticed that the glasses and utensils had an odd egg-like smell—possibly a dishwasher issue. We had to ask twice for extra napkins, and my gluten-free bagel for the Eggs Benedict was forgotten. To make things worse, I later realized the bacon was missing as well.
When the check arrived, some item prices didn’t match what we had seen on the menu, so we had to ask for a menu to verify and correct the charges. While I still love the setting and hope this was just an off day, the inconsistencies made this visit disappointing.

The grocery store is small but super impressive with the selection of food and beverages. I found some super unique beers (which you can purchase by the can) and they had lots of healthier food options. The taproom and restaurant had awesome deals and really good food. I enjoyed the fact that they were vegan/gluten free friendly and had a choice of indoor/outdoor seating.

It was fairly slow when we arrived, which meant for a quiet dinner. I love that there are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menu options. They have an excellent day ok menu. Prices are reasonable, in the $11-25 range. My only complaint is the service we received was average. The server forgot a drink we ordered since she didn't write it down. My husband got chicken and was expecting a vegetarian dish. And the refills on drinks were a little slow coming considering there weren't many people there. However, I would still come again.

An amazing atmosphere with air purifiers at every table. The staff is super nice, attentive, and accommodating to each and every order. My wife and I have severe Gluten, Wheat, Dairy, and Soy allergy and they completely accommodated us through all four courses of our meal with no issues at all. They were able to substitute items as well instead of removing them which made us feel very special and created a super personalized experience.
