Well the food was tasty however the service was a bit odd. I wouldn't say unfriendly, just very particular. If you come at 11:30 don't expect to be served lunch because they won't. Many of the items on the menu may or may not be available. If you want decaf coffee, forget it because they won't have it and if you ask for it you might get a weird look. When the waiter came up to us I actually thought he was homeless guy since he was pretty scruffy, but he turned out to be working there. He was a bit bristly too, but the woman server was nicer. The menu itself is confusing ... there's a lot vegan ingredients but it's all mixed together with like eggs and meat and bacon so really hard to understand the point of it all. I'm not vegan so it didn't bother me but if you were vegan this probably isn't your place. They had some gluten-free things but one of the guests at a table near me was trying to order it and they didn't have very many of them. Prices were right in line with San Francisco prices meaning they were higher than expected for this area. Huevos rancheros was $15.95 but that didn't include beans which is pretty standard with that dish, and you had to add a dollar for the beans and $2 for avocado both of which would normally be on that so that's $18.95 and a scramble with everything was $19.95 smoothies were $8. I don't think I'll eat here again but I can say the food that came was tasty at least.

This is a bustling, little bakery with coffee and gluten-free selections. Sadly, they were out of the gluten-free carrot cake when I visited but we tried the gf almond cake, which was excellent. Prices are in-line with Bay Area prices, so no bargains but it is tricky to sustain businesses in rural communities so I can't fault them too much. The drip coffee was horrible, though - hence knocking off one star.

The food is great diner type food. The service was fast and friendly. We went here twice while we were in the Garberville area. They have gluten free bread for sandwiches and toast.

Great home cooked cuisine with a nice home town vibe. They have tons of gluten free and vegetarian options along with locally sourced ingredients. I went with the chicken pot pie turnover. It was super flakey & savory. I spoke with the chef and he mentioned that all the pastries are made in house every morning. I highly recommend the pumpkin roll and gluten free cheesecake!

Don't miss this place on the North Coast where decent restaurants are far and few between. This place is amazing, a true hidden gem in the small town of Garberville! This is the perfect place to stop for a meal that will fill you up and leave you feeling great for the day ahead. Everything is made with high quality ingredients (they use avocado oil! instead of low quality canola oil). The meats are high quality, (they use grass-fed beef), the vegetables are fresh and vibrant. I feel good every time I eat here, which is a few times a week. They usually have a few prepped salads, fresh fruit and Shawarma wraps from the grab and go case, but their wait times for warm rice or noodle bowls and their gourmet sandwiches and sliders is never very long. You can count on getting in and out in about 15-20 minutes. Call ahead and they will have your order ready when you get there. The people that work here are friendly, helpful and accommodating. If you have dietary restrictions, they will work with you. All the sauces are gluten free, and you can sub tofu for any of the bowls if you are a vegetarian. Their flavors are amazing, I especially recommend their red curry noodle bowl, and the stir fry rice bowl... ask for the Garlic Ginger sauce aka "GG sauce" it's not on the menu, but it makes for an epic bowl.
