I have celiac and found this restaurant on the “Find me Gluten Free” app. I was on vacation and the restaurant had good reviews. Don’t trust their gluten free menu-i got a pizza that was listed on the menu as GF. I got VERY SICK after eating there. I am certain that it was not GF. My guess is the waitress didn’t specify GF when sending the ticket to the kitchen. The food was delicious, but be careful.

Wonderful, wonderful restaurant with some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The food is always fresh and flavorful. I eat here often (even though I live in Highland Park) because it makes me so happy. The staff is very friendly and amenable to requests (gluten-free papadam instead of naan, for example). A friend of mine and I eat here every time she visits because it’s a favorite of hers, as well. Highly recommend!

One of the best places to eat in Montrose, La Canada and La Crescenta. The only place in Los Angeles for quality kebob AND they have vegan, as well as gluten-free options. Owner and staff are fantastic. If there's ever an issue, talk to the owner (he's usually there) and he will make it right, but I've NEVER had a problem. Even through the pandemic, where other restaurants have upped prices and lowered the quality of food used in the struggle to stay afloat, Kebab Daddy has, thankfully, NEVER compromised on the high quality meat and ingredients used, even when times were tough. Thought I'd post a review since my boss is gonna go there now to order 3 lunches. YUM!!!

I am a self proclaimed cookie aficionado (I just eat a LOT of different cookie brands) and will say that Bradys is def in my top 3 fav of all brands I've ever had! I found them by accident and now it's all I order (the other two brands are supermarket brands in Portland Oregon) The consistency is perfect if you love gooey cookies that don't taste raw. I love the gluten free option as well as the different flavor options! You will NOT be disappointed!! Just try them and you will be hooked. Every time I bring them to a party, everyone becomes obsessed with them

I have on numerous occasions now ordered sandwiches with gluten free bread and received meat in a to-go box with no communication from the restaurant. Seems like you should get the chance to refund your order if they don't have bread.

This place is amazing. The chicken tacos were very tasty. I was attending GrowthDay Live at the Alex Theater and this is conveniently located nearby. It's also close to the Brand Plaza Hotel. The service was excellent. Very friendly and even remembered my order when I went in a 2nd time (I mentioned the tacos were tasty, didn't I?). I have to eat gluten free. There are several gluten free options (including the chicken tacos). The price was also extremely reasonable. I highly recommend stopping by and eating some tacos (or anything else on the menu).

They offer gluten free red velvet cupcakes and the separately vegan red velvet cupcakes. My son has a wheat and dairy allergy so I asked if they can combine the gluten free cupcake and the vegan frosting on the red velvet cupcake and the woman said they could not. This makes ZERO sense to me. They have all the ingredients there and doesn’t seem to be a big ask. There are many allergies in this world now with kids who have both — must we make this so hard??

We had a good, but not perfect, experience at Basin 141 in our first time visiting this cute part of Montrose. We were seated right away on a Saturday night a little after 6 though had to sit at high tops as all of the more comfortable booth seating was occupied. The cocktail menu is impressive with its many creative options. I had the Weissen Sour which was a really well-mixed refreshing cocktail that was not on the dryer side (ie not sweet.) There are tons of delicious and unique cocktails to try on their menu and I definitely want to come back and try more. We're vegetarians and were excited to see many options available on their dinner menu including 3 different vegetarian tacos. (Truffle Mushroom, Sofrito Taco, and Potato [the Sofrito is also vegan]). My wife and I actually both ordered the taco plate with the same 2 tacos - one Sofrito and one Potato. It was cool that you could mix and match your tacos so you could try more than one on the plate...as well as add more than just the 2 that came with the plate. Both of these tacos were delicious...the Sofrito came in a handmade tortilla...it actually fell apart (the tortilla) as soon as I picked it up so I had to eat that one with a fork. It was good and had a nice spice to it....the potato taco was crispy shelled...it was yummy and among the more flavorful potato tacos I've had. The tortilla chips it came with were house-made, so yay for that, but they were definitely over-fried...browner than they should have been on both our plates so not as fun to eat. Also for vegetarians are a Pub Pretzel, Charred Cauliflower, Truffle Mac and Cheese, an artisan cheese plate, a bunch of sides and salads as well. So If you're vegetarian, or vegan, or gluten-free, you will not go hungry here. We liked it here and would definitely come back for more drinks and to try the other things to eat. Would have been 5 stars if the chips weren't overcooked and my taco had not fallen apart upon first touching it. Something to strive for, Basin 141!

Ok. What can one say about a supermarket in the United States especially Los Angeles? Well it obviously depends on the buyer for the store. This Vons/Pavillions seems to have quite a smattering of everything. There is a US Bank office small change machine, outdoor furniture, a pharmacy, a reasonable ethnic foods section, personal care has a wide selection of new and the usual products. They cater to Vegan and gluten free crowds. The bakery is quite good. All in all I feel a supermarket should inspire one to cook. Not leave one flat and zeroing in on preprocessed meals. The leading cause of diabetes obesity and all that follows. I am by nature not a huge enthusiast of shopping. That being said I was there for 4 hrs lost in awe. Ralph's in La Crescenta so far is number 1 in inventiveness and late hours but this runs a close 2nd. Parking is always available. Safe and has a self check out if inclined. Yep. I'll be back. Though Albertsons takes the prize for those back of store discounted by 50% miscellaneous stuff...still bloody expensive at times considering the discount but worthy of finding all that stuff you do and dont really need. Good job Pavillions though I havent been to the rarefied air of west Los Angeles for yonks. It may be a case of being up in them there hills too long. And no I dont keep a 3 eyed child in the basement because I married my brother! We are civilized and even my neighbour is a stuntman at Universal. It's a preference or familiar area to live in these them there foothills. Remember, the real snakes are People. Have fun spending! I still cant justify $6.00 for a loaf of good bread. First timers! Absolutely LOVED the customer service. Great staff, super friendly, approachable and even hooked it up with a sampler of their cookies and cream custard which was bomb. The food was great as well. We ordered the chicken sandwiches. One on a gluten free bun (not grainy/dry like at other places) and one in a regular bun. 20/10. It's been a while since we had great food and customer service like that.

We recently moved to Glendale and Amici quickly became our favourite restaurant! It’s the best experience I’ve had dining and Omar our waiter made the experience so memorable, we’ve never had such personable service, he’s one of a kind. We love the food and having celiac disease I was surprised at how many gluten free options there were available for me. I’d highly recommend the restaurant to anyone in the LA area. 10/10

Nice surprise. This is an elegant, and welcoming environment. Modern decor with an air of lounge vibes. This restaurant has many options to different nutritional preferences. It has several dishes that are vegan and gluten free. We order the fresh roll, Kari Seafood and Sticky rice with mango. Everything has really great flavor. You can taste the freshness of ingredients and species. The sticky rice and mango was already my favorite desert but this restaurant really presented the most delicious one I have ever tried. Fresh roll were fresh, balanced and delicious. The Kari Seafood had great mild curry flavor, not the most impressive presentation, but still great flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely will come back!

Totally random stop here on my way from Ventura to Boyle Heights during Friday rush hour. So glad I stopped. Immediately upon walking in the door the owners treated me like a long lost friend. It’s a small joint, maybe six tables, in a strip mall and was swamped with takeout orders. The service was fast and the food absolutely perfect. Well spiced, gorgeous vegetables and so good I couldn’t stop eating. Super accommodating of vegan and gluten free options. Will make this a stop on my commute. PS- buy the hot sauce in the soda cooler. It is maybe the best hot sauce on earth.

Excellent service and excellent quality of foods! I had Kalbitang (beef bone soup with glass noodle) and tojong soondae. Both were gluten free dairy free. I am super symptomatic celiac and allergic to gluten and I felt good after eating. Side dishes are not gluten free Kimchi, radish kimchi nothing is gluten free so don’t touch them. I have two kids and the server quickly brought a high chair, extra soup bowls and plastic spoons and forks for them. He also brought scissors and tongs for me to cut the foods for them.

Legitimately the best pizza I've had in ages. It's dangerous having this place within walking distance. Quality toppings and ingredients. One of the best thick crusts I've ever had. They also have lots of vegan, halal and gluten free options. Try the calzone, it's bigger than your head!

Had an absolutely WONDERFUL time here at Damon's! The calamari, coconut shrimp and garlic bread appetizers were all scrumptious! The dipping sauces perfectly complimented the dishes, and even though I try to eat gluten free most of the time, I just HAD to indulge in the PHENOMENAL garlic bread and fluffy and moist GINORMOUS piece of chocolate cake! The Mesquite grilled salmon and twice baked potato were also delicious and perfectly cooked... And the the filet mignon was melt in your mouth seasoned to perfection BLISS! Our server Mary was a complete JOY to boot! You can tell that she absolutely LOVES people and does her job with an inner warmth and happiness second to none!

Great options! I had a mushroom burger with gluten free bun and a side soup instead of fries. It was really good. Staffs are very friendly too. The only drawback is the long wait. However, the center shops nearby are nice to pass some time.

A coworker of mine recommended this place and worth it. Tucked in a busy corner of Glendale, this marvelous place is best place for Pho. I ordered the chicken pho with vegetables which I highly recommend is the best ever. The broth is flavorful even without the side condiments.However, do try the chicken wings with sweet and sour sauce! Please note if you have a gluten allergies, the staff is very accommodating with your dietary needs.

Delicious generous portions. A cut above your standard sandwich and salad. Had gluten free bread which was delicious in the Not So Fried Chicken Sandwich. I was helped by someone (I think he was the manager) and had lovely service from him. The rest of the staff seemed a little too flustered to be pleasant but I believe this is a new location so understandable. Food was tastier than I could make at home and after I felt energized and alert (no meal hangover), the menu had lots options to fit my dietary preferences, I definitely will be back!

Everything was ace!! The server who took my order was all smiles! The food was top notch, and my Iced Latte was amazing. My Mom got a hot vanilla latte, and the vanilla tasted so good; I usually loathe in my drinks. When leaving, I saw their homemade syrup bottles with dates listed on them. In-house made syrups? Yes, and please!! This will be my new weekly ritual! P.S. There were two gluten-free baked goods - a chocolate mini cake and a Polenta Blackberry cake/bar type pastry. Just an FYI for my fellow celiac crew or those avoiding gluten! I spotted an Earl Grey vegan baked good, as well! Thanks for having options for those of us with dietary restrictions and/or lifestyle needs.
