My friend and I arrived shortly after Dragon Well opened and were warmly greeted by the owner, Christina. The restaurant was already full, so we wandered around the neighborhood for 15 minutes before returning and getting promptly seated. We ordered off the gluten-free menu, and Evan helped narrow our choices to the GF Scallops, Prawns, and Calamari in “Bird’s Nest.” We also got the GF Vegetable Fried Rice. Both dishes were just fantastic - well seasoned, and the seafood was cooked to perfection! The potato “bird’s nest” was delicate and added the perfect crunch, and the calamari was incredibly tender. We were delighted to find the iced teas we ordered had lychees in them. On our way out, Alex thanked us for coming and wished us well. I’m Chinese and am very picky about Chinese food, and it was legit. Add the stellar service and warm vibe, and Dragon Well is a definite winner in my book. I can’t wait to come back.

Incredible bowl of noodles! I have a gluten-free diet so it can be hard to find good pho/ramen. And the photo speaks for itself on how much I liked my bowl of rice noodles! Perfectly cooked and seasoned meat, rich broth, and just the right amount. I loved having the extras on the side so that I could personalize the flavoring. As for the atmosphere, I loved the Disco music softly playing but the chairs were a little uncomfortable.

Found this place from a search for gluten free pasta. Wow, what an amazing meal. My husband was impressed and he grew up on homemade Italian food. We have never found a restaurant that could rival his Mom’s cooking, but we Roma Antica is it! The special Risotto and Short Ribs was perfect and gluten free to boot. I enjoyed every bite of my Gnocchi with Sorrentina sauce (creamy tomato with cheese). Even the roasted Brussels sprouts were delish. Not to mention the mini rice balls, just like Nonna’s. We were stuffed and took the crime brûlée cheesecake to go. The staff was so friendly and chattering in Italian. It reminded us of the cafés in Europe. We can’t wait to return.

I like healthy food! Clean, fresh, tasty...yes, yes, yes! Project Juice was a food start-up that opened first in Russian Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. The couple who started it lived up the street. I started to taste their blended beverages in a bottle. They were delicious! One of my favorites is the Mint Chip. Now I’m into the Golden Immunity drink. The turmeric counters the environmental free radicals. That’s what we need, isn’t? Stronger immunity systems? The shop also has food! Paleo, gluten free and more. Yeah! Next time I’ll try the acai bowls or avocado toast! Multiple shops in San Francisco and beyond ;)

Kara's Cupcakes is my absolute favorite cupcake place. So much so that whenever visitors have come to town, I would usually make it a point to take them here as my own sweet treat. While you can't really go wrong with any selections from their menu, their Gluten-Free Chocolate Velvet cupcake (with chocolate sprinkles on top) is divine. It's been my favorite since before I really knew much of what gluten-free was all about. Their Sweet S'mores cupcake is also quite a special treat with its graham cracker crust on the bottom, and its marshmallow-y goodness is reminiscent of a much fancier & delectable version of a Hostess Ding Dong.

Ok — wow. I’ve been yearning for my go-to Thai spot in SF, and I’ve finally found it. First off, huge props to Phat Thai for having heaps of gluten free options. Sometimes you can’t get gluten free Pad Thai, and sometimes, that just about breaks my heart. But not here! Pad Thai wasn’t just gluten free, it was damn delicious too. The red curry was also a fav, and we loved that it contained pumpkin cooked to perfection. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for great portions and delicious food!

I didn't mean to eat the whole thing but I couldn't help myself. I am sort of addicted to the Furikake salmon wrap, but had it as a bowl just now. It never disappoints. Ingredients are simple, fresh, healthful, and delicious. The GM is attentive and hands-on, extremely personable. I appreciated that when I asked for half of the rice that would normally come with the bowl, the cashier offered to make up the other half with lettuce. My avocado was tender and bright green, salmon grilled perfectly. Veggies were a nice texture and seasoned deliciously. I work in Marin and frequently treat my learners to World Wrapps in Corte Madera, so I knew the food would be good. My learners are always big fans, too. My gluten-intolerant friend can eat here, too. The same GM from Corte Madera was here today, and it's clear that he is working very hard to bring good food and service. Give this place a try!

Outstanding service from the minute we walked in the door! The breakfast here was hands down the most delectable food we have had! I had garden omelette which was filled with the freshest veggies, while my husband had the Corned Beef Hash that included the most flavorful potatoes and tender corned beef. They ever had the option for Gluten Free bread for toast which was much appreciated! Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Susie Cakes has amazing tasting cakes. My favorite were Red Velvet and Marble Cake. They also had gluten free cupcakes for my celiac friend! The staff was super friendly helping figure out which cake I should get. At the end I got both pieces of cake since they gave them to me as samples to try. They made my first day on the city! (the picture is from the next day and after refrigeration.) I would recommend the food. It was prepared beautifully. I ordered it on ubereats and can tell they really care about the food quality. It tastes great, reasonable prices and very filling. Not sure if it's a temporary special but they also had $2 boba with the meal. Cheapest drinks in town let alone cheapest boba! It was a special treat I didn't have to feel guilty about. I hope the business succeeds! Oh and the gluten free cookie was great as well! It's so hard to find gf cookies with good texture but it was delicious. Thank you!

Service was amazing, especially before the dinner rush. I respect and appreciate the wine list, they source wines from Italy that highlight biodynamic varietals from their natural origins. They are able to accommodate gluten free options for a lot of dishes. Flavors of dishes in all courses, including dessert, taste genuine and natural (in a good way). Definitely ask the servers for recommendations of both food and beverages. P.S. I’d recommend starting your dinner early, as close to 5 as possible for a personalized experience!

We were dining with a person who must eat entirely gluten free ( not easy to do in an Italian restaurant). The staff was so good about taking every precaution to make sure our friend was served great food...great gluten free food. My sister eloped at the courthouse and I wanted to surprise her with a preplanned dinner at L'Mida, a Moroccan restaurant that I had heard great things about. I was not disappointed. L'Mida was the perfect venue for her celebration. They had vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian options that suited her and her party's dietary restrictions. The food was mouthwatering, authentic, and generous. Their favorites were the couscous, Zatar Manakich Flatbread, and Maakouda. By the end of the night, even the vegans were full! The ambiance was cozy, elegant, and intimate. The service was impeccable and courteous. Esma, the manager, was very accommodating and gracious. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I highly recommend L'Mida to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. Thank you, L'Mida, for making my sister's elopement night unforgettable!

People with celiac and gluten intolerance beware, the ramen here is actually NOT gluten free. Although you can order gluten free noodles, every ramen base still has soy sauce (which makes you wonder what the point is of ordering gluten free noodles). They told me they can’t make the broth without soy sauce, so the GF noodles are quite misleading.
