We came to celebrate a very special birthday, and were not disappointed. Even with very discerning palates and high culinary standards, as well as a vegetarian and gluten-free diners in our party of four, we were all truly impressed with the attentive service and every single dish we ordered. Even my cherry cola sour mocktail was delightful! THANK YOU for a wonderful dinner, we all loved the risotto and the pan-seared scallops; the bread service with black garlic butter; and especially those savory Brussels sprouts with goat cheese and cherry balsamic. Everything we tried was delicious and we will definitely return!
This cozy spot offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with a small-town charm that makes gluten-conscious diners feel right at home. Their soups, notably the baked potato soup thickened with alternative ingredients, provide satisfying wheat-free options without compromising flavor. The deli section also features carefully prepared selections that cater to those seeking gluten-free choices, all served alongside what many consider the best coffee in town for a comforting lunch experience.

The food is always good, and their baked potato soup is good enough to dream about. As much as possible, they use something other than wheat flour to thicken the soups, so there are usually wheat-free choices (though not necessarily gluten-free, as all the food is prepared in the same place). I think their coffee is the best in town, and the deli section has some really good selections. If you're looking for a great lunch, this is it.
For those seeking gluten-free options, this spot surprises with a delicious eggplant parmesan that is naturally gluten-free, offering a hearty and flavorful choice without compromise. The covered outdoor seating nestled among woods and a nearby river creates a serene and relaxing ambiance, perfect for enjoying a meal free from gluten worries. While the pizzas are renowned for their thin, crispy crusts, the standout gluten-free experience here is the rich, savory eggplant parmesan, making it a welcoming destination for gluten-sensitive diners.

I'm gluten intolerant, so I don't even eat pizza but I broke the rule at Otto's because it's so freaking delicious. Had the white pizza with vegetables. The crust is both crisp and chewy, flavorful with olive oil. Gluten gives me a headache - Otto's pizza did not. Which means I'll be going back at some point 😄. The service is efficient and friendly. The outdoor ambiance is so pretty and relaxing.
This intimate venue offers a refined casual atmosphere with a unique private vault room adorned in navy blue and gold art deco style, creating a memorable dining setting. While gluten-free options are limited, the gluten-free pasta is a pleasant surprise, showcasing the same amazing quality as their standout dishes. The warm and attentive service enhances the experience, making it a noteworthy choice for those seeking gluten-free dining in a sophisticated yet inviting environment.

We enjoyed a truly wonderful anniversary dinner at Grano Arso! Service was warm and attentive, atmosphere was refined casual, drinks were fantastic, wine list was good, and the food stole the show. The Braised Beef was to die for, the Chicken was phenomenal, and the Toasted Rye Tagliatelle was excellent (and the gluten free pasta was a pleasant surprise). Salads and side were also amazing. And save room for dessert; the Affogato was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. We also loved strolling around downtown Chester after our meal, for a drink at another restaurant, some live music, and some delicious ice cream; who knew it was such a hot spot, and on a Tuesday evening! We can't wait to come back!

Good fare (celiac friendly!) & good outdoor dining on the river. Loud boating crowd.
