This place is phenomenal! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is charming, and the service is fantastic. I took my parents, and we had the Roy and Greek omelettes and the Nora crepes—both gluten free and regular. I enjoyed my time, and our server Constantine was especially charming, welcoming, and helpful. If I visit again, I will definitely be coming back!
Theses people are WONDERFUL! We ordered 15+ pizzas for an after party wedding ceremony and they delivered within 45 minutes of the order being placed and got everything correct! On a Saturday night! In addition sent the bride and groom a little congratulations ☺️ would recommended over and over again. The pizza was the absolute best we’ve had and they made gluten free accommodations for those who had food allergy!
Just can't say enough good things about our experience. Yanni waited on us at the bar and was super attentive. Not overbearing but there when you wanted him to be. We were there on Friday night at rush hour and were super impressed with how the entire staff supported each other. The food recommendations were spot-on and we loved everything we got. My wife is gluten free and they had vast knowledge of how to handle, as well as a big selection of options. Give this place your business. You'll be happy you did. We'll be back for sure.
We went there last night. We had loaded hummus to start, it was amazing. I can’t eat gluten so for extra charge you can get veggies instead which is huge. Most places don’t offer alternative. I also had the filet skewer, steak cooked perfectly as was the yummy rice. Hubby had the sirloin skewers, he absolutely loved it and thought the veggies were fantastic and cooked perfectly. The server was friendly and attentive.
We went Sunday and got there not long after they opened. As we were leaving the restaurant was almost filled. Definitely recommend a reservation.
This is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant by far. Highly recommended. High quality food.
It is the only place in brevard for the best açaí bowl made with chocolate almond milk! I also love the numerous gluten free bakery options and my go to is always the blondie. They also have a great chicken salad to go with crackers or protein balls for a quick bite to take to the beach. My wife’s go to is the breakfast sandwich. Also, their merch is a must have from the tshirts, hats and rad corksicle mugs. Don’t forget the free old school arcade machine for kids to play with while the parents have some chill time.
Amazing food, great drinks, and impeccable service. Scott himself greeted us and visited the table often. Our waiter, Pepper, was witty, fun, and prompt. Group of 9 of us who ate and there was not one complaint or meal that was not excellent. They were very accommodating to dietary needs as well, as one of our group has celiacs. She didn't feel restricted by the options on the menu at all. Could not more highly recommend this restaurant!
I am a local to Melbourne, FL and I used to go to City Tropics, (before Djons) with my mom and we loved it. I’ve been to Djons Village Market and the rooftop now twice and I hate to say that I’m so disappointed with the sushi chef and the owner-Djon. I have been here before to get a poke bowl down stairs and after staying I had Celiac Disease/Gluten Allergy (because sometimes because don’t know what celiac is and I like to give them grace). I saw that mine was covered in teriyaki and Eel sauce which both contain wheat (just like soy sauce). I was devastated and tried to reach out to someone regarding this issue and I got nothing. I didn’t get to eat my poke bowl, after already making the drive and paying for it because the kitchen staff is not knowledgeable. Yesterday I went here with my mom and our friend who owns a business in Indiatlantic. I ordered a Cosmo and a Spicy Tuna Roll and stated I had a gluten allergy so to leave the soy sauce out and any other sauces. My waitress understood and told the chef to change his gloves etc prior to making my food. When I got my food I ate one piece of my roll and realized there was eel sauce drizzled all over my black plate. I ordered a new one without the sauce… since apparently I have to help the chef figure this out. They also didn’t even have GF soy sauce so my mom had to go downstairs to the village market and buy some. After a shift change our new waiter told us they should’ve just given us some and that she shouldn’t have bought any. Yea we know that… but of course there’s no attempts to make it right. I already knew I would be extremely sick from the one little bit of eel sauce that was on my plate (which I am extremely sick today) but what’s insanely shocking and disrespectful, is that the owner was standing at the bar goofing off and couldn’t spend the time to come take five steps toward our table and apologize for the mistake. I told a few waitresses and our new waiter that I had tried to reach out to the owner in regards to this issue previously and nobody would talk to me. Here he is five feet away and he won’t even take the time to take care of mistakes that are happening in his establishment. The village market carried The Organic Girly (a local gluten and grain free mom and pop) among many other Gluten Free options in the store, so why can’t the kitchen staff follow suit? I don’t understand how a rooftop bar and village market in beachside is not able to fully grasp this concept. Thankfully the rest of the staff was very kind. But the owner is not. Which makes sense knowing his reputation in Brevard. I would like to say that I will come back, given that my fiancé and I have spent a lot of money in the village market, but after this experience of blatant disrespect from the owner, I’m not sure we will.
I ordered the chicken shawarma from doordash. While the item is clearly labelled gluten free and the pita bread is to be on the side, the chicken arrived served on a pita, making a good portion of this dish inedible for me. The portion I felt comfortable eating tasted very good, though.
