Friendly staff, but a small (and generic) brunch order for a celiac party took 2 full hours. Safe food, but the wait was too much. Do not recommend blintzes unless you appreciate taking shots of vanilla extract (overwhelming in the filling).
This spot offers a unique selection of ever-changing snacks and a quick, seamless shopping experience with great prices and ample parking.

We are visiting Chicago's Northern suburbs, and discovered our favorite grocery chain, TRADER JOE'S. This TJ's is stocked with the same house brands we find in Southern California. The employees are kind and knowledgeable. You know, they listen when you ask a question, then take you to that item. Checking out is quick, easy, and the bagger will move it to your car. Incidentally, TJ,s reusable bags have a long life.
And yes, the prices are good too.
There's an excellent selection of fruits and vegetables, packaged meats, cheese, unique spices, vegan and gluten free foods.
But the real joy of Trader Joe's is their selection of unique snacks, entrees, and desserts. However, there is a catch. TJ's branded products are constantly changing. If you see it and like it - buy it. It may not be there tomorrow.
Everything's ADA compatible. Plenty of free parking.
Celebrating milestones feels special here, with attentive service and a menu that evolves to keep things exciting.

Came to celebrate my graduating university, and Ivan and Benny made it a lovely experience. The food was great (I had the carbonara, and it was perfect!). Ivan was very knowledgeable when it came to the Gluten free options, but also admitted when he wasn’t sure about something and checked with the chef, which is exactly what I would hope for. Benny was prompt and polite with any of our needs. 10/10 would go again! Thanks Ivan and Benny!
A lively spot with a spacious outdoor patio, perfect for gathering with friends over tasty specials and enjoying a relaxed vibe.

Been to a few different Pinstripes locations but never this one. Met some friends on a Monday night. They have a Happy Hour in the bar Mon-Fri from 3-6 with limited small table seating. Since we're were having dinner,we sat in their Bistro area. They also have a huge outdoor patio with outdoor seating as well.
It was fairly crowded mainly because of their Monday unlimited Chopped Salad and Spaghetti and Meatballs special for 12.00. Needless to say,we all took advantage of this special. My wife is Gluten Free so they made her salad and pasta gluten free with an upcharge of only 2.00.
The Signature Chopped Salad is the real deal..grape tomatoes, roasted corn, kalamata olives, gorgonzola, burrata, cannelloni beans ,dates and crispy noodles. Delicious!
The spaghetti was with a flavorful marinara sauce with beef meatballs. You can add a meat sauce for 2.00 extra.
The food was delicious, our server Emma was fantastic and we were not rushed at all.
I will definitely be back ,maybe to try their Happy Hour specials in the bar area.
Awesome vibes with unique lizard art, attentive service, and a chill sports bar atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back for more!

If there was an option for 6 stars I would give that for many reasons! First and foremost, they were great with allergies (dairy, egg, and gluten). The service was fast, food was AMAZING, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pretty awesome. Someone previously said she was intimidated by the lizard paintings but I loved them, lol. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu! Thanks so much for making my birthday the best.
Known for its fantastic and unique pizza crust options, this spot has impressed many with its flavorful creations and friendly vibes.

I had a good experience with my food, I ordered gluten free and it was delicious, they prepared it just as I ordered it; it was very healthy for me, my partner's food was delicious, I ordered wings with BBQ sauce, I recommend you and I would order from you again, congratulations!
The person who delivered the food to my house was very kind.
Still says they are closed on there door, and how are you going to call yourself a Middle East grill and not serve lamb, and how the heck does steak have gluten! Sounds to me like not real Middle East food and processed garbage ingredients!
The staff at this place is fine. No issue with them. They are professional and kind to me all the time.
The management is who this is pointed to. Every single time I have a pick up at this location there is an issue that wasted 20-30 min of my time having to deal with the delivery apps support. The problems are almost always related to a lack of supplies. Whether it be no cups. No gluten free pita. Another common issue is that the restaurant is closed early for no actual reason but still taking orders through the delivery apps. There is alwaaaays a problem.
It does not matter what time in the day either or what day of the week. I have never ever had a smooth experience from here. I gave this place 10+ chances and at this point I feel it was worth reviewing cause it’s not getting any better.
A mix of quality products and helpful staff, but a recent negative customer service experience highlights a need for improvement.

Generally i would give Sunset Foods Store #002 5 stars for quality, cost and customer service. However my recent customer service experience on 10/31/2022 @ 19:24PM terminal 012 oper/cashier # 180 was the worst i have encountered anywhere till date. I went in to return a Gluten Free cake which i had purchased 2 days back, when a cashier lady came to help me immediately. I told her i am a frequent customer, and have purchased the same cake multiple times and in the end told her the cake i was returning was stale and crumbling. As she took the cake she pointed to the expiration sticker which read '01/18' multiple times alluding that i am returning something from earlier on the year - prior to which i had calmly told her multiple times it is not my issue. Yet again she pointed out and enunciate another word "Gluten Free Cake" trying to show me the obvious. At this point i could not keep my calm and raised my voice slightly letting her know that being a person of color i can clearly read, speak and understand English and her customer skills were not kind, to which she started raising her voice. Things escalated further when i asked for her manager and however her young colleague, who seemed to be in his early 20s, ~6ft tall curly haired Caucasian male colleague stepped in glared at me while spurting out in a rude voice while comforting her "you go away and let him yell at me and not you..." while giving me the nastiest look. I told both the cashiers their demeanor was not acceptable and they can keep the goods and the cash - as they kept on raising their voices. In the end she finally accepted that the date might have been an issue by the bakery. I have no personal issue with the female cashier, however i did not appreciate the way the young gentleman interacted with me. I definitely recommend he should go through some customer service training, as being from the service industry and living in Northbrook i expect decent customer service. Once again as a frequent customer i am NOT looking for any freebees or anything else, vs management taking some corrective action for the young gentleman to improve customer service.
This review is not intended for people to have a negative bias for this store based on one bad incident, as i will still go again as majority of the time all the staff is helpful with a smile and everything is well stocked and fresh produce is good quality.
A bustling breakfast spot with an amazing vibe, known for delicious dishes and discounts for cash payments, but expect some service quirks.

First time going here, primarily because the congested parking lot with half of the north suburbs having breakfast here made my decision! Unbelievable amount of people, so I knew it had to be good. It was great! Best gluten free pancakes in Chicagoland! I had to ask the waitress if she was sure they were gluten free ~ you cannot tell the difference! Buttery, flavorful, moist, delicious. The Spanish Omelette was out of this world, served with salsa. The attention to the table is significant here, and if you pay in cash, they will discount your bill. An excellent find for breakfast! For singles, best to go around an hour, or an hour and a half before closing. It is so packed but there will be less traffic just before close. I didn't wait long because they gave me a small booth for singles. Several offers to fill coffee. They bring a to-go box plus bag. Very attentive service, helpful and kind waitresses, and the bussing is fast, thorough and effective at clearing tables. Great place! Nice management, great food, excellent service!

Trattoria Oliverii is an unexpected delight. It’s like stepping into an Italian restaurant in Italy. The owner is attentive and shows real care in her guests and service. The food and drinks are delicious and my wife’s gluten free needs were carefully addressed without compromising the taste or quality of the food. This is our new favorite restaurant. I highly recommend it.
My husband and I are keto, and I am gluten free - we ordered the sausage crust pizza. It is absolutely fabulous and I couldn't more highly recommend it.
Unique dishes like scallops in bacon and lobster tail make for a delightful dining experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Ordered gluten free menu items, very well received by my stomach, thank you very much. Ordered scallops in bacon, mashed potatoes, lobster tail, and creme Brule for dessert. The service was friendly, patient and accommodating. Loved it!

We had the best pizza at napolita with amazing service. They were so accommodating to our gluten free needs and went the extra mile to make sure there was as little cross contamination as possible. Our server, David, was especially amazing so great thanks to him!!!
With a vibrant atmosphere and an extensive menu featuring standout dishes, this spot is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood.

This was my first time at NSB and I can say it was wonderful.
There were 4 of us sharing the experience and we ordered 2 salads and 4 mains which we shared.
The wait staff was wonderful bringing us extra plates and set ups and keeping our drinks full.
Most all the tables were full and there was a great buzz without being too loud.
The food was excellent – the artichoke salad in particular had large pieces and was cooked to perfection.
We ordered Grilled Prawns and Vegetable Linguine with gluten free pasta – the sauce was and pasta were delicious and I’m not gluten free! The skirt steak and Branzino were other standouts.
The menu is extensive and we look forward to working our way through it.
We are thrilled to have North Shore Bistro in the neighborhood.
With a chill vibe and dog-friendly policy, this spot offers tasty meals everyone can enjoy, making it a great family hangout.

I am gluten free, go the a salad with tofu. Better than any other gluten free food I’ve had. My kids got chicken nuggets, they were real chicken. We also got a pasta with a sauce. It was great. I love this place. Definitely coming with my dogs next time(WHICH YOU CAN DO!!!)
