The bakery has lost its MOJO, I feel like. The front donut/cookie case is always empty. The lights are always shut down in the bakery like it's been abandoned. I ordered cakes for my daughter's birthday on a Monday for a Wednesday pick up and they were frozen when I picked them up. Despite the mild hiccup on my daughter's birthday, Hy-Vee does have great gluten-free (GF) selections all throughout the store. The chocolate cake the had for her turned out great and my daughter loved it. In fact, I liked it better than the original cake :)
Nestled by the river, this spot is a delightful dessert haven with must-try seasonal treats and a welcoming vibe that keeps visitors coming back.

This place is wonderful! They are so friendly and eager to help you with the menu. It’s located right next to the river. You must visit here if you’re looking for dessert. I also noticed a gluten free option. And everything we ordered was delicious! Blue raspberry whip is a must try as well as their seasonal pumpkin pie and apple pie snowstorm. Let me repeat, they are so friendly and pleasant. Good service is hard to find and this is why I want to give this place their praise. Thank you!
