This place is AWESOME❣️ I asked the manager if they could offer more than 1 gluten free pastry & within a week they started offering the MOST DELICIOUS Meusli Muffin❣️ 😋
Don't be fooled by the seeds on top into thinking it’s “a drybran muffin” - NO - it’s a moist, yummy muffin that I challenge ppl to try & see you miss no gluten when eating this scrumptious treat! 😍
THANK YOU, Takoma Beverage Co. baker!!
A spot where you can enjoy huge portions of unique flavors, a BYOB policy, and a cultural experience with beautiful art and intriguing conversations.

A beautiful setting with drums to sit on! Food was beautifully presented. Fish, plantains & momo was delicious. Chu and Rice just ok. Most of their food is gluten free and can be vegan. They had 2 spectacular desserts that fit the bill - a dense and fruit packed raspberry chocolate cake and moist and fresh blueberry hibiscus cake. The ginger drink was also very good.
Great sushi! Prices are reasonable for Takoma Park. The wine selection is decent, including a few fancier options plus four or five varietals from their affordable house offerings, where most restaurants just offer a house red and house white. Easily accommodates vegetarian and gluten free diets. Table service is surprisingly quick even on a busy Saturday night with every table full.
Very nice store. Tremendous produce and many specialty items, such as really great milk from the Harrisburg dairy and a wide range of gluten free options. Also a rich selection of different Montgomery County and DC ales. Very friendly staff.
Visited with my mother as she raved about their spiced tea. We have gluten intolerances and try to stay away from dairy so middle eastern places typically work well for our dietary concerns. We ordered the fried cauliflower, spinach, okra, and vegetable stew.
The Good
-The fried cauliflower is delicious
-The okra was good. Nothing spectacular but it wasn’t as bland as the other dishes.
-Our server was kind and the food came out quickly!
-The ambiance is quaint. We loved the wood oven heater and the decor.
The Bad
The stew and spinach were unexpectedly bland! The spinach appeared to be pan seared as it was visibly dry. The vegetable stew just tasted like tomato sauce and vegetables-no distinct flavor palette there.
Unfortunately the tea was watery as though it’d been steeped too many times.
I think there are certain dishes that are definitely worth trying here and others that are just okay. Definitely heed previous reviews and pick out the standout dishes. If I came back, I’d get the cauliflower again but try the falafel!
This cozy spot offers a small but expertly crafted menu, featuring a variety of vibrant dishes that delight locals and visitors alike.

Loved the space, the food was delicious, and staff were warm and friendly. It’s a small menu, but they do it well, and we appreciated the vegan- and gluten-free menu options. As a Takoma park local, I miss Mark’s, but this is a delightful addition to the neighborhood!
Step into a cozy spot filled with irresistible aromas, where unique organic breads and a charming atmosphere await your discovery!

Obsessed with their various organic whole wheat breads and their gluten-free carrot cake (with icing). It’s hard to find those little traditional authentic bakeries, so glad this place is still around and thriving.
Known for its amazing vibe, this spot offers outstanding service that keeps people coming back for more.

I stayed in Takoma for a bit and went to several places to eat and this place had the best service and the food tasted amazing. I would definitely be back. I had the gluten free pasta with a pesto sauce. 🤌🏽👍🏽#sogood! 🥳🥳
Gluteny, delicious, the price is right and the owner is nice. Know what you’re coming for which is large, cheap, and great for a cheat day, and you will not be disappointed.
