We had a September 2023 wedding at the Publick House and it was absolutely wonderful! Our initial plan was to host the ceremony outside but it was absolutely down-pouring the day of the wedding. Dennis, our day-of coordinator, kept everything on track and prepared us for the likely change of venue to indoors. The food was delicious. My husband has a gluten allergy and the staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating to his dietary needs. One note about the cake, it was a little difficult to find a design we liked as many of the photos provided of cakes were from weddings hosted well over 8+ years ago and so the designs reflected that style. We eventually found a designed we like with a bit of trial and error. It turned out delicious!
This charming bakery enchants with its Instagram-worthy black and pink decor and a magical, welcoming atmosphere perfect for sharing moments. It offers a variety of gluten-free, vegan, and keto options, ensuring a delightful experience for those with dietary needs.

This place is darling! It caught my eye because of the Pride flag proudly displayed outside. Thanks for that. You walk in and are greeted by a ton of options of sweet treats and friendly staff. We were served by Katelyn who was attentive and knowledgeable of all the desserts. This was important because I have a gluten allergy.
I was so pleased to discover a GF, KETO option. This is hard to find in terms of baked goods not in a freezer section. I was informed that the typically carry 2-3 items on rotation so there’s usually something new on the menu if you visit often. They also have diabetic friendly and vegan items.
They have a few places for seating inside and plenty of parking. The prices are appropriate for what you’re getting, especially given the specific ingredients required for specialty baked goods.
People of all ages would enjoy this shop. Stop in next time you’re in Sturbridge.
This spacious spot offers a laid-back, open atmosphere with tasteful music and a lively DJ, creating a welcoming environment. The friendly, accommodating staff ensure a comfortable experience, especially for those seeking gluten-free options in a vibrant setting.

Condesa served us a delicious meal that delighted all 6 members of my family. The salsa and chips were very tasty. The chips were not too salty, which I appreciated, and the salsa was so fresh and had just a bit of spice. I am gluten and dairy free and didn't feel restricted at all. My sister and I split several things. We tried the vegetarian cornmeal sopes which had the best taste and texture, and split an order of tamales , which I found exceptional. We also tried the guacamole, which was so creamy and fresh. Finally we decided to order a salad, made with cucumber, jicama, and some delicious spices. The sauce/dressing was a bit spicy but addictive. I've never had anything like it, and I loved it! The atmosphere is open, and not too loud. The waitstaff were friendly and welcoming! We live in CT, but I would travel to eat this wonderful food again.
This lively spot offers a laid-back vibe with a large dining area, bar, and outdoor seating. It stands out for its thoughtful gluten-free options, including gluten-free rolls and a dedicated approach to avoid cross-contact, making it a great choice for gluten-sensitive diners.

Complete surprise. Gluten-free food that was delicious. I got the burger house specialty, wow, great sandwich. Wife said her baked potato pizza was awesome.
This breakfast nook offers a cheerful, friendly atmosphere with a genuine 60s diner vibe. Despite mixed reports on gluten safety, it features gluten-free bread options and egg dishes that some guests with gluten allergies have enjoyed, making it a notable spot for gluten-free diners seeking a classic diner experience.

We’ve been by this place various times and it’s always packed. Today we stopped in and because it’s early in the busy season, we had no wait. Plenty of parking.
Keeping in mind it’s a country kitchen, everything was great! Everyone was so friendly. The place was clean and the server was attentive. I have a gluten allergy and I did fine here. They do offer some GF bread options. There are also plenty of egg dishes which are GF. The food was overall delicious and fresh. They offer some pies too, which my spouse got to enjoy.
You’ll find this establishment to be family friendly and great for single and seniors. You’ll do fine if you have mobility needs. I also noted that they are definitively LGBTQ friendly, given the signage on the door. We love that because I know my family and clients would feel welcome.
You’ll also find that the prices are fair for what you get. Stop in, you’ll very likely enjoy it!
