When another restaurant canceled our graduation dinner reservation on the day of, Michigan House was extremely kind and accommodating to get us in and the service was wonderful. They fed my celiac and vegan family members equally as well as carnivores, and the historical memorabilia on the walls was very interesting. Would come back any time!

Never thought I'd say this in the U.P. but they have some very good pizza at Jim's. Both the regular thin crust and gluten free really hit the spot. Pepperoni was very good. Maybe could do with a slightly better cheese but we all finished our pizzas.

great pizza! Even had gluten-free option for my wife. Toppings were very generous and it excellent!
Very friendly staff; just a shame to see a single table for their "dine-in" option - so we just took it back home to our VRBO.
We'll certainly be back for more pizza next time we're in town!
Step inside to experience a rustic, retro ambiance blending Northern Michigan wood with 1960s ski lodge charm, creating a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere. The staff is generally helpful about food allergies, though caution is advised due to limited gluten-free options and recent menu changes.

Cobb Salad was amazing!! It was HUGE!! Waitress was helpful and friendly regarding my food allergies. The place itself needs an update but don't let that stop you. No gluten free buns or bread.
