I’m gluten sensitive — the gluten free crust is my favorite that I’ve found so far! The texture and sweet flavor remind me of corn bread, I like that it’s more fluffy and soft than cauliflower crust (which is my favorite thin crust/cracker-like texture). I think there is corn dust on the bottom or something — either way, texture and flavor wise it’s delicious. It’s slightly sweet flavor pairs really well with pineapple and jalapeño toppings. I like getting bacon on it too…gluten free pizzas usually taste better with meat for the extra fat/flavor.
I love that after I order a Gluten Free Bun their staff always asks if it's an Allergen or a preference? It's awesome to see establishments like Culver's take food allergies
and sensitivities seriously. It's extremely frustrating for one with Celiac's or any food allergy to order while dining out because they're taking a chance on their wellbeing 100 percent of the time and putting their trust in a stranger preparing their food. So it's amazing to see Culver's approach to such an important life issue.
I'm always so happy with the food and service at Herrick House! I have issues with Gluten so I'm thrilled that Herrick house offers a number of GF options including homemade bread!!! Thank you so much for keeping my tummy happy !! I will return soon !
What a lovely and unexpected find. The staff were so friendly and attentive. I had an amazing creamy pumpkin cold brew and the most incredible omlette with Gluten Free toast! Yes! Gluten Free!!! I loved this place.
Pizza was solid. My wife especially liked the gluten free pizza. The wings weren't very good.
Update- thanks for responding, the wings had more breading than I like and that breading was a little "squishy", to quote my wife.
Liz and Deb have great knowledge of our gluten allergy. They took great care to make sure that our food was made safely. When we come to Clare again, this will be the place we will continue to come to for our meals. Thank you so very much ladies and kitchen staff!
Becca was very friendly and very helpful. She seems like she loves her job. She took great care of my family and was very knowledgeable. One thing that really enhanced our experience was when she changed gloves before and after handling products that didn’t contain gluten after I mentioned that I could not have gluten. I really appreciated how careful Becca was! Thank you Becca. We will be back again!
