Twin Birch is simply THEE BEST in Kalkaska! The menu is great - every single item is amazing. Major plus - one of the few places you can trust when they say gluten free. Hands down, the best burger you can get in all of northern Michigan!
Absolutely love this sweet restaurant! The coffee is fantastic (white mocha) and the corned beef hash skillet was satisfying. The employees were lovely and were very knowledgeable about gluten recommendations. Love it and will be back again!
Amber was very patient with me as I tried to find the best gluten free option. Decided on the TexMex burger, no bun on a side salad extra chipotle ranch. YUM.
I dont know what their house Chardonnay is, but it's great. We travel from GR to Harbor Springs ALOT...We will be back. :)
Unfortunately they were down to a very limited fryer items only menu when we visited around 9PM on a Fri night which left pretty limited options for anyone with gluten sensitivity. The mozzarella sticks are interesting though, wrapped in a rice based wonton wrapper so I definitely appreciated getting gluten free mozzarella sticks! Service was ok. Unfortunately there were some extremely rowdy patrons in the bar area, despite sitting on the opposite side of the restaurant it was very loud and the place is quite echo-y. It's worth a stop to checkout the wonton mozz sticks though and atmosphere could be completely different depending on the patrons on a given night. Would try again.
