Had a good experience here with celiac disease, dining out with a friend who also has celiac. The server answered our questions and we learned that the soy sauce contains gluten, and they do not have a tamari substitute, so stick with the items on the menu marked GF. We both really enjoyed the curry fried rice!
Enjoy a stylish and spacious atmosphere with high ceilings, a stunning wine list, and delightful drink options, perfect for memorable gatherings.

We had a lovely time at Meritage! The service was fantastic and the interior is both intimate and spacious. The high ceilings are to die for. I highly reccomend asking for a spot by the window or the half-booth half-table spots along the back (this is where we were). The patio also looked beautiful and romantic.
The wine list was HUGE. However, we didn’t even dig into the wine because they have an assortment of delicious champagne cocktails (and I love champagne) as well as a plethora of fantastic NA beverage options!
As far as food, we ordered off the ala carte menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and RICH! We made the mistake of ordering way too much food—the serving sizes are plentiful so be careful not to over-order like us.
The steak tartare with the big taters was flavorful and rich, but still had a light “spring” flavor to it with the fresh veggies on top and mustard seed. A great starter.
The French onion soup was divine, however the serving was way too big. I would have loved a French onion soup “shooter” option.
By the time our main dishes came out, we were so full already. We ordered the risotto which was absolutely perfect and so fresh with the spring ramp and peas. We also ordered the moules frites. The fries are a MUST ORDER at Meritage. The most perfect fries I could imagine.
The mussels were still delicious, but not my favorite that I’ve had compared to some other mussel dishes at other restaurants in the twin cities. There are so many other good menu options, I would have just ordered fries and skipped the mussels for some other options.
My wife was gluten free and the wait staff were very knowledgeable about what could be made gluten free (almost everything!).
We were too full for dessert, but the options looked delicious.
Overall, we will be back!! They also have a tasting menu that I would love to try. A classic Twin Cities restaurant that I hope to return to again and again. A must-visit.
Expect a top-notch dining experience with flawless service, stunning presentations, and an impressive wine selection.

Five star restaurant! Impeccable service. Waitress provided us with options to have food prepared due to gluten allergy. Food was excellent and prepared and plated to perfection. Impressive wine selection. We would highly recommend and hope to return!
I was in the neighborhood and saw this come up as a restaurant near by, I am soooooo happy I came here. My roosted veggies sandwich and sweet potato fries are cooked to perfection. Its my first time enjoying baklava and boy is it good. I'm a vegitarian and it can be difficult to order at some restaurants but this place has options. Vegitarian, Vegan, gluten free, religious diet friendly options! I will definitely be back. Thanks for the sandwich reccomendation! Support this business, they do not disappoint!
With a fun vibe and unique menu items like a quirky Elote Burger, it’s the perfect spot to grab a bite before a show.

Stopped for a drink & bite to eat before a show at the Palace Theatre.
Fun atmosphere and we were pleased that the food was delicious!
I enjoyed the Elote Burger (it has corn & hot Cheetos in it!!) on a Gluten Free bun.
Can’t wait to go back and try something else from the menu!
My fave place to go for Taco Tuesday while at work in Downtown Saint Paul, hands down better than chipotle! Good Customer service and almost everything is gluten free! Love it
Never been here before. They had gluten free bread and it wasn't terrible. The staff was friendly even a little sassy which I like. I will be back to this location again when I'm in the mood for a sub.
Unexpectedly great gluten-free pizza. Attentive server. Good menu. Relaxing dinner. If you're in the area, give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.
This cozy lobby coffee spot features an improved drink menu, scrumptious rich chocolate bundt cake, and affordable prices.

A lobby coffee shop. The food selection has very much improved (I'm told it will improve greatly very soon). They now have a coffee selection for the "regular" coffee drinker. "Americano," which is no longer the only option, is joined by a drip coffee as well. On a high note, the gluten-free carrot cake is some of the best carrot cake I have ever eaten. It's better than ANY carrot cake, not just gluten-free. The chocolate bundt cake was a vegan delight! It may have been the best chocolate bundt cake ever. Extremely rich and chocolaty.
The best part may be that the prices are very reasonable too.

Eat and spend some quality time at Loon. The menu may be small, but there are selections for a range of people and tastes. Several are gluten-free and just as tasty. Very comfortable and easy going, yet right on point in quality ingredients and their creative use. Also an excellent place for light food and drink. Great creative drinks and plenty of locals on tap. In the old Hamm building an easy walk to theatre, sports and other destinations. Service superb with personable knowledgeable people that put you first. You are not hurried and can spend time with friends and family.

Wild venue for a metal show. Saw Septicflesh here recently, and Morbid Angel/Watain/Incantation back in 2019. Killer sound, great selection of drinks, and easy parking. Food menu is a bonus, and the separation of the music and seating is really nice. More gluten free options is my only request!!
