We’re visiting from Chicago and had the BEST time at Shaggy’s in Gulfport! The vibe is so chill and fun—exactly what you want when you're by the water. Our server Greg was awesome—super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The seafood was delicious (seriously, try the shrimp!) and we were impressed by how many gluten-free options they had, which can be hard to find. Highly recommend this spot whether you're local or just passing through. We'll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

I would avoid this place if you have celiacs or a food allergy. There were a lot of reviews stating they have safe gluten free options. But I soon discovered that the kitchen has a lot of cross contact. I ordered a seafood dish with rice and explained that I have celiacs. The waitress said she would inform the kitchen and ensure my meal was gluten free. I was half way through my dish when I discovered that there was a piece of angle hair pasta inside my rice, like right in the center of it. The waitress then explained that the pasta and rice are prepared next to each other. They do not take cross contact serious in the kitchen and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with a food allergy. I am now extremely ill from this mistake, I hope the restaurant learns so they can practice proper kitchen safety and not offer options that are high in cross contact with allergens.

Absolutely everything we got was delicious!!! So many delicious gluten free options!!! The rice pudding was the perfect end to the meal! Hospitality of the owner and the stuff was unmatched 🥰

My wife and I are gluten free and they had plenty to choose from. Although there was an item I could not try because it wasn’t possible to make it GF, I still enjoyed a pancake and waffle. Wait staff was very friendly and created a nice atmosphere to enjoy brunch.

The food is incredibly fresh and unique with colorful flavors. My kids are picky eaters, but they cleared thier plates! We ate until we were full, but the food is so wholesome, it was light on our stomachs. We felt the nutrition as we were eating the gluten free, vegan variety of foods. The owner is the sweetest woman! We could tell that she made her food with love. This was the best experience we have had in all of Mississippi! 10 stars if we could!

Wonderful bakery with gluten-free options. We bought Death by Chocolate cupcake, Lemon cream cheese cupcake, gluten-free salted caramel cupcake & some other items. Everything was delicious! We will definitely buy here again and order cakes to be made for birthdays!

Amazing oysters, grilled fish and craft cocktails. Love the architecture of this old building. Friendly staff. Cognizant of food allergies and they will answer questions easily. I have a gluten allergy and eat here regularly without issues.

Love this jersey mikes, they’ve never let me down. -I appreciate the Gluten free bread option :) -They also take proper precautions if you let them know you have a GF allergy. -I usually do online order and it has never been incorrect -I have never had an issue with employees, they are usually friendly & efficient.

This was our first visit to Patio 44 and we were blown away from the moment we reached the restaurant property! Plenty of parking, inviting gardens and then you step inside! Patio 44 has AMAZING food, excellent service and the atmosphere is a comfortable modern southern chic! Whether you are visiting south Mississippi or have lived in Gulfport for years, Patio 44 should be a yes on your list of places to eat! We had a party of maybe 30-50 (I’m not sure because we just kept coming in, 😂) and the ENTIRE staff including the hostess, was organized, professional personable, hospitable and timely. I have allergies to gluten & dairy, but the diligence of our waitress and the cooperation between her and the chef were second to none! They took care of me as if I was a family friend. We stayed late into the night talking and laughing with our friends and the staff gave us their best! We weren’t rushed out or made to feel as if we should leave. The best thing was the food quality was still perfection! You could feel the chefs love for his craft! If you haven’t been to Patio 44, you NEED to GO! If you haven’t been in a long time, become reacquainted! They are one of Gulfport, MS gems! You won’t be disappointed!

I wish we had a Rouses in my town. I drive 20 minutes to visit this one because the variety and quality of their stock is so much better. Rouses has old fashioned butchers who'll cut your meat and make fresh sausages every day! They have all the ethnic, organic and international items you might be looking for. Normally I have to go on base to get some of my international favorites, but Rouses has them for the same low price. Some items may cost a few cents more than bargain stores, but their customer service makes it worth your while. They also have an amazing array of Non dairy and gluten free options. If you're in the mood for a charcuterie board, this is your one stop shop. If you're too busy to go in, check out on instacart for delivery within 2 hours!

We went to the Rack House for our anniversary last night. Our server was Kenny, and he was awesome! I needed my meal to be gluten free and he went to the kitchen a few times making sure that I could have the food that we were ordering. I got the lamb and it was amazing! We got the bourbon creme brulee for dessert and it was on point! so good! And I did not get sick from anything! ❤️Thanks Kenny, you Rock!!

My family recently moved to Gulfport, MS from Joplin, MO. I have to have a gluten free crust. Joplin Papa John's, without fail, burned my pizza black and inedible every time. In Gulfport Papa John's, my gluten free pizza was PERFECT! Ya'll are AWESOME, keep up the great work!!!

Needs more gluten in the crust. More seasoning to be desired in the pizza itself. Otherwise excellent cheese portions with everything you order. Mozzarella that stretches for ages. I also very much appreciate the short menu that knows how to deliver on the offerings. Cheesy garlic bread is a must with a side of sadduci sauce. Being kind of a pain not giving the full 5 stars because my complaints are minimal. The service was also great. Will certainly be returning when the opportunity arises again.

I can only eat pizza that is made w/o gluten. It's expensive!! So... when the 50% coupons come out, I'm in heaven and get to eat pizza for a few days. For lunch, I ordered a GF pizza and Lorraine Road made a PERFECT Pizza!!! Awesome job & Thank you!!

This store is a small local natural food business. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a large selection of natural foods including fresh organic fruits and vegetables, and all sorts of gluten free foods and other natural food and drinks that can't be found in any supermarkets down south. Definitely recommend it.

Never ate here before usually stay away from Chinese since I got stomach problems and don’t really believe people when they say gluten free.. let me tell you not only did they have options for people with diets it is fire 🔥🔥🔥 you can taste the freshness in the food seriously… and the staff is just as awesome felt like I was eating at a friends family’s house
