Stopped here after an exhausting day. Great food, and friendly service. A bit small but it has its charm. Great menu with normal, vegan and gluten free choices. Has a bar for some great drink choices. All around great place.
Stopped in for a coupke of slices and a gluten free pizza. Slices and GF pizza were excellent, but what really got me was how friendly and welcoming they were at the counter. Good foid and grest hospitality!
An amazing little spot that is just past the firehouse!
They have delicious hot chocolate that pairs amazingly with their gf/v brownies. The brownie was really delicious, chocolatey and rich, though a touch dry and so crumbled easily, but that didn't take away from it's amazing flavor. In addition they've a variety of other gluten free, and vegan options.
The atmosphere is an excellent place for sitting, reading and writing! The staff is warm and friendly and quick to fulfill orders!
Definitely a recommended spot!
Darling restaurant that has gluten free options. Loved filling out the paper to order my burger. My only complaints are that there needs to be a place on the order form to say how you want your burger cooked. Not everyone wants it barely done. Also, as someone who can't have all alcohol because of gluten, listing out the ingredients in the bar drinks would be helpful. Our server didn't know and was going to have to ask the bartender about the four drinks we were interested in. We just decided to not get any.
Taco Project a place I’ve always wanted to try and finally had the time to give it a go. I definitely can say this will be our go-to taco spot whenever we are in the mood for good tacos. The tacos to order are:
- Battered Fish: Atlantic Cod topped with Red Cabbage Slaw, Guaca Salsa, Cilantro, and Radish
-Chicken: Free Range Chicken Rolled in Chipotle topped with Cilantro, Jicama, and Radish
-Grilled Shrimp: Mango Salsa, Tomatillo Sauce, Cilantro, and Radish
I would recommend the battered fish tacos which is glorious for the taste buds 👌🏽 😋 Also all three tacos are gluten free except for battered fish but can be grilled.

This place is a gem. Truly delicious Middle Eastern food, light and flavorful falafel. And the server, in spite of being completely in the weeds on a Saturday afternoon, was so kind, efficient and patient with my child. We are a mixed celiac/vegan family and it was easy to find something good, and safe, for us all (including incredibly fresh tabouli, made with quinoa!).
Truly enjoyed our lunch here and hope to make the trip back up from Brooklyn soon!
Enjoyed a hot cocoa a few days ago there. The staff is really friendly and they even have some gluten free options. Definitely a nice spot for coffee or a lite bite
Excellent. Great food. Nice size menu. You can taste the authenticity. It's not on the menu, but they have gluten free pita. Just ask.. Excellent, friendly wait staff... If you want real Greek food, go here ...
You really go for the atmosphere. Staff was great. Unique setting in a mansion. As gluten free people, the food was good, but not woah good. I recommend the branzino and cauliflower entrees. Those were yummy.
:( CLOSED 10/31/24 Unfortunately due to fire next door. Praying they open soon!
GLUTEN FREE options. Amazing tea selection!

Because of the pandemic, Blue Hill have switched to a outdoors picnic-style setup. You have to book online: new dates for the following week are released at 9am sharp on Wednesdays, but cancellations sometimes come up at other times (we got a Wednesday table the previous weekend). There’s no menu but you can specify broad dietary restrictions such as vegetarian or gluten-free and beverage choices from a selection at booking time. After your booking is confirmed you can email to make specific requests from the normal wine list.
On arrival you are temperature-checked at the gate and after parking and going to the main courtyard you are greeted and given a personal copy of the day’s menu. This shows you the location of your table. The tables are socially-distanced and outdoors but under cover so no need to worry about rain.
At your table you’ll find a picnic basket for every two people booked. This contains all the appetizers, side dishes and dessert for your meal. For appetizers we had a selection of the day’s vegetables from the farm, tomato soup, a lobster ceviche-style salad with squash, tuna confit, avocado squash guacamole and bread and butter.
The hot portion of the entree course was brought to us by staff serving using a pizza-oven style paddle to maintain distance. We had steak accompanied by roasted squash. The picnic basket sides were cucumber salad in a sesame dressing, a bean salad, charcuterie and cheese and ruby kraut. Dessert was raspberry ice cream and warm cookie again served by paddle, with rice pudding and summer fruits from the basket.
There were a couple of minor glitches: although our email request for a specific wine was waiting for us on our table we had no wine glasses and had to seek out the staff to fix this. The allergies section of the booking form does not allow for specific details. Although on our email request we specified that one of us has a lobster allergy, our basket contained two lobster salads. To the staff’s credit, as soon as they were made aware they provided an alternative and confirmed that no other items had lobster.
The food in general was of very high quality. The tuna confit, bean salad, steak and rice pudding were the standouts for me. My wife especially liked the artisanal bread and butter.
All in all this was a very good, fun experience. Blue Hill have taken pains to adapt to the pandemic and have produced a very enjoyable experience. It’s still pretty pricey, about 2/3 of the cost of the usual fine dining experience, but the standards remained very high. We hope that Blue Hill will provide a picnic option like this in future summers as well as it works so well.
I love everything about Bistro 12! The food is always delicious, and the owners are the best! They also have many gluten free options for me. The vibe is awesome! You'll find every age group enjoying dinner at Bistro 12.
I don’t give my five stars easily. But what a gem of a restaurant is Tarry Tavern! The food is delicious, cooked from scratch, and with an emphasis on healthy. They have no trouble accommodating gluten-free as the way the food is prepared it’s gluten-free as is already. The Parmesan polenta which accompanied the braised short ribs was creamy and smoother than most mashed potatoes I’ve had with this kind of dish. We also had the mussels as an appetizer and the dish could have been a meal as the mussels were so plentiful. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. We can’t wait to come back and that’s the best thing to be said about a restaurant.
Frank, Anthony, and I had a great night at tapp! From delightful cocktails and exceptional wine choices to top-notch service, our evening was truly memorable. Buffalo wings were delicious and gluten free! A special shout-out to Heather, who made our first visit exceptional with her warm hospitality! We will definitely be back!
